Bowe beats the giblets out of Tua. I think his offence would actually put Tua at risk of being stopped.
Agree with consensus so far picking a Bowe decision. Also think Bowe turns it into a much tougher fight than it needed to be. And he has to dig deep for the W, instead of coasting and being smart on his way to a lopsided decision.
Tua also blew out a usually durable John Ruiz in less than 30 seconds as well. I still would take Bowe by a comfortable UD but Tua was a dangerous fighter.
I had mentioned Ruiz as his spectacular claim to fame in my previous post. Yes I had forgotten the mentally fragile Moorer as also stated. You should read the posts from the beginning my man
Bowe should out work him, I'm taking bestof big Daddy, he'd have Tua looking ineffective as hell. Much like Lewis did. But.. If Bowe did like to go toe to toe and get reckless, he could find himself tagged hard by Tua and then the well thought out plan goes up in flames!
Those giving Tua a chance in this one really need to take into account that Tua needed 11 rounds to get past the jab of Oleg Maskaev, and needed 12 rounds of non-stop pounding to take out David Izon. He was a myth. There's no way the 92 Bowe is losing to Tua.
And he went toe to toe with a beast in Ike, had massive KO power, blew out a bunch of top guys, and was impossible to stop. Even in the sparring footage of Tua against Holy, you could see Tua rocking him. Tua was legit.
Ummm... which tops guys did he "blow out"? I'm waiting. He blew out a green Ruiz, and a shot Moorer. Those were his only "blow outs". Everything else was life and death. Tua was a good fighter, he wasn't some scrub... but I call him a myth cause he was always likened to Tyson and Frazier. In the real world, Tua could never shine the shoes of either of those two. Bowe was on another level. But for what it's worth... Tua would have knocked out Andy Ruiz and Joshua.
