I don’t totally disagree with this I just think the version we didn’t see could win more times than lose .
I think you are not listening to logic if Ali didn’t fight Norton until his 43rd fight and until 1973 four years after his prime, how can you not see that beating and just losing to Norton has no relevance to the fighter Ali would be at the time specified eg ( prime) just to give you a little perspective people like AJ and fury have to have another 12-13 fights and training camps to get to that stage how far from prime do you think they will be when they hit that number, and they won’t have fought the level of fighter Ali would have up to that point. You are not making any sense.
Ali caught by a crushing hook from Henry Cooper. His team tries frantically to revive him between the rounds. Angelo Dundee doesn't' cut Ali's glove...thus causing a longer break that gives Ali time to revive. Cooper comes out and swarms the dazed Ali and knocks him completely unconscious for the ten count. Henry Cooper fights Liston and becomes the heavy weight champion of the world. Hey......let's keep it in the real world ok.
This fight happened six years before the proposed time of this thread . when a 21 year old , only 19 fight, green up and comer, fighting a seasoned pro when showing off got caught, Can you get in the real world. Ps the glove saved a few seconds don’t believe in myths bud.
Ok....here is what you think is the real world. Ali....fights his entire career and is never hit....by anyone. He flies around the ring and never touches the ground....the referees are confused. However, there is nothing in the ring rules about it. There is nothing they can do. He literally does float like a butterfly...he has an S on his chest. After a few rounds....his opponent Joe Frazier...brings kryptonite into the ring. It has no effect on him. He knocks Joe Frazier out in the first match....with the first punch he throws. Ken Norton is ktfo....and never even touches Ali's jaw...although he tried. Earlier in his youth the U.S. government tried to ko his career because of his non participation in the draft. Instead....they awarded him the congressional medal of honor. He told the viet cong he was coming ....and they .......surrendered. He never got parkinsons...and he is still living at graceland with his pal Elvis. IS THAT BETTER?.......Now go back to your silver surfer comics, and play dough.

Dundee did do the damage to Ali's glove. He did it on purpose. He admitted it. It was a smart move. It worked. For the record...I think Ali was tremendous. I have a very high respect for him and his place in boxing. Believe what you want to believe though.
