Boxing24 seems to have an issue with concept of "shot" and "green."

Canelo was not peaking when he fought but was still a reigning, unified champion who was bottoming out pfp top 10 lists. Not green.

Kovalev was not prime when he fough Canelo, but also was not "shot" considering that he stopped an undefeated top ten contender and won a wide decision over a 175 champion who was undefeated and top 2 in the division in 2019.

Too green? He had over 40 professional fights when he fought Maywether

Canelo was close to prime when he fought Floyd. He is just too primitive to give him problems
Kovalev appeared totally shot vs Canelo.

Kovalev tried to beat Canelo Euro style and won about half of the rounds. Go watch Postol and Oktay Urkal. If you don’t sit on punches, you conserve energy. If you make it to the finish line ahead, job well done. His game plan involved looking “shot.”

Oh ok so he pretended to look shot, when he is not.
It means the fight was fixed and people involved should be investigated.

No neck could be right imo.May look fixed but we’ve seen the same from a weight drained Chavez who couldn’t be bothered or couldn’t physically do anything.
It’s entirely possible with Kovalev given the weight clause and short turnaround after Yarde that in the back of his mind he knew that even in the event of putting more on his shots wouldn’t get noticed by the judges and given he couldn’t explain why he felt tired after six rounds it seems like that secretive weight clause did manage to handicap Kovalev which is why it was there to begin with.
Either way there’s nothing good about that fight and countless vids on YouTube about it being a fix shows how folk don’t trust Canelo and GB fights.

I don't know what happened, but everything Canelo and DLH do reeks of fraud and deceit. These morons don't realize they damage their own brand.
They should be banned from DAZN before everyone unsubscribes.

Those are just opinions that do not hinder his status of ranking.

I think a better argument can be made by Maywether beating Canelo with Maywether being past his prime and Canelo being an experienced fighter at the world level

Yes and we don’t just say this after the event. How is it that I could predict Canelo by controversial means?

Bro are you dumb? He turned pro at 15 meaning he didn’t get to have an amateur career!
He was green because those 41 fights were basically his amateur career!!!

The level of ignorance on stupidity amazes me in this group!

Couldn’t explain what? He was taking it to the body, getting walked down, and didn’t have great stamina to begin with.

He was a unified champion more than “basically.”

Bro you stupid or dumb? Seriously . Canelo didn’t have a real amateur career he turned pro at the age of 15. His record coming into the mayweather fight was his amateur experience as on the job training. He said he learned a lot from the mayweather fight. He even uses some mayweather moves

You're probably new to the sport if you think we don't know how Canelo and various Mexican fighters had their careers guided. Canelo stepped up after 20 fights and beat soon-to-be champion Miguel Vazquez. He stayed fighting winners and known fighters after that. He was a pfp fighter and unified champ by the time he got Mayweather, and plenty of people thought he'd win.
