I like Frank's shows, often there's some good competitive action in the undercards, plus it's a nice change to Sky with some different voices etc. Dubois is easily my favourite. He's got great potential, but more than that he just comes across as a decent, hardworking and professional guy who it's easy to want to succeed. Warrington close behind, a bit more abrasive and the LUFC following can grate a little, but he's exciting to watch and his progression over the last 2 years has been the story in British boxing.
Tyson Fury, Josh Warrington, Liam Williams, Daniel Dubois, Sunny Edwards, Archie Sharp, Sam Bowen, Anthony Yarde, Joe Joyce, Jack Catterall, Ryan Garner, Lewis Crocker, Dennis Mccann, Willy Hutchinson ^It's a much better stable than people are saying, there's still a lot of talent there. Mccann and Hutchinson are arguably the best two young prospects in the country!
Dubois is my favourite. He is a future HW champion and star in the making. I would like to see Frank put some cash down and get him some better opponents. He needs some ranked opponents (Universal top 15). I personally feel like he will be ready within the next 18 months to face one of the big 4. He needs to step it up prior to then not just jump the level below. So when he does face the big 4 he has had that gradual step up and had to dig deep and win.
Combined losses of British heavyweight opponents after 13 fights... Joshua: 117 Fury: 135 Whyte: 237 Lewis: 133 Dubois: 37
Barrett all day long. I love watching zelfa and he's only getting better. If he can learn to commit more to certain shots then this lad can go far.
Yarde - He and Tunde are comedy gold and I've been won over, it's entertaining and I want him to somehow become a World Champion, I shout "LIONS" like I've got Tourettes now.
I like that stat. A good one for Frank to roll out if anyone complains about the pace with which he's bringing DD on. Not that they should really, he's very young for a HW and looks to be progressing and learning from fight to fight. I think Frank is canny getting guys like Lartey from Africa. They haven't had many defeats and they look the part, without maybe offering any or at least much more threat than some of the time served journeymen over here with several losses on their records. Sokolowski for instance who has 15, but looks pretty dangerous to anyone not on their game?
I usually try not to link any fighter to a promoter, although it's hard to deny that it clearly influences a fighter's careerpath, scorecards, titlebelt options, so eventually it's really hard look at them seperate from eachother. I like WARrington and Dubious Daniel.
Not knocking Dubois but this was his first fight, taking the 0 of Barney Rubble. He's taken the 0's of a few nobodies/future journeymen, that's why he is so far ahead of the others after 13 fights. I'm a fan by the way, I really like him and I think he can go far. This content is protected
I’m a Massive fan of Dubois. I think he’s ready to cause the top 10 problems now but he has took on many no marks with severely padded records. Looking forward to him stepping it up and knocking out top opposition.
Dubois until he gets sparked...... wants a tear up too much sorry to say gonna get caught at some point by top 10 so may not get that world level fight ever. Like the kid though wish him luck but must agree with the many that Matchroom would elevate him far better at this point in time but at least Warren has kept the zero very very safe to date.
