He's fighting guys his size. It's a legit division. I can fight in it if I wanted. I can fight at 105. Loads can, it's not as weak as you think. It's quite a talented division in fact.
You have to be joking. If you can fight at 105 as a grown man I actually feel sorry for you. What country are you from? There are literally no grown men walking around who weigh 105 pounds. I never see grown men that small. The smallest I see is maybe 120 and even that's tiny.
A lot of these fighters come from parts of Asia where for historical reasons as much as anything they tend to be slighter than those of Western or African heritage. It doesn't mean you can't find some very, very tough individuals who you'd be an idiot to mess with and it shouldn't in my view lead people to disrespect the lighter weight divisions.
It is, it's without question the worst division quality and quantitywise in boxing. But that doesn't mean it can't set overall records, it's just the easiest division to do it in. Just like Floyd never beat Marciano's main record, because Marciano's record is the heavyweight wins in a row record, 49. Floyd has the overall retirement record without draws or nc's, which was Marciano's too of course, but a minor one.
LMFAO! I can safely say there's not a man on planet Earth that can kick my ass weighing 105 he's simply too frail and weak to damage me. I'm too big 6'3 230 I'd actually kill a man that small and wouldn't even fight a man that little. With that said the only fighters who I cared about at those weight was Finito Lopez and maybe Calderon. I don't really pay attention to anything below 112 unless there's a special fighter there like the 2 I mentioned.
Not at a gym but I have my own bag and do stuff at home. I wouldn't even entertain fighting a man that small but just say for argument sake I did, I would just man handle the guy not even try and box with him.
I agree. I wouldn't try to box one of those little guys if I had to fight one. I have a much better chance using my physicality than actually boxing with them. Those little guys have sting still... Remember they're not walking around at 101-105 pounds. id hate to eat shots from Felix Alvarado
This is basically the thread. And going to 50 and 0 anyway is really against odds even in fury fights he is going to lose one...he already did. Hes getting real close to losing since stepping up. Ortiz was his first real step up and he lucked out. He then fought Breazeale and was buzzed with the first shot that didn't even land cleanley ( don't believe me ? Go listen to his number one fan boy Blue blood you tube guy, he even said it ) He then robbed Fury of a fight we all know he lost ,that fight doesn't let him break any record of Floyd or Marciano for that matter. He has these guys to get by if he wants to remain undefeated, Ortiz ,Fury , Joyce, Usyk, DDD, Whyte ,Hrgovic and Joshua as all possible opponents from now until then . 2019 to 2023 undefeated ? Not even Wilder or his team could plan a successful cherry pick plan that long to do that, hes going to fumble somewhere way bf that and it might not even be anyone I listed.
I'm Irish, just not that tall. I'm average height by Spanish and tall by Asian standards. I'm slim because I have high metabolism but I'm not scrawny. I regularly knock people around who are bigger than I am so it's not really a hindrance or deficit. I definitely outsize loads of guys if I go to the right place. I don't walk around at 105 either, but I can make that weight. I think I'm 120 at the moment come to think of it.
Are you interested in starring in a reality show? I follow you round SE Asia and we see what's the smallest size guy who can kick your ass?
It's got a lot of pretty good fighters coming through it all the time. Trust me it's quite good, Menayothin's last fight was against a top 5 opponent in the weight class and it was a quality affair. They're fast as hell man and technically very proficient.
