Does anyone here think Devin Haney would beat Loma?

Not right now in about 2 years I would say yes.

Yep, the usual suspects keep coming up empty and will never learn. It’s fun to watch. Can’t wait for Tank Davis to step up and get a boxing lesson. Haney is young and I hope they don’t rush him. Tank has no excuses except that he’s busy fighting old dudes and scrubs.

After watching haney’s last couple fights, I don’t think he’s ready. He has good skills, great size and is atBelgic. I suspect he will be a legit champion if he continues working hard and staying on track.

 

Loma is on his way down. Slowly but surely.
His style is incredibly youth dependent.
All about legs, rythm, activity and quick reactions.
Does Haney beat him now? No.

But in 2-3 years when Loma is 34 and Haney entering his prime? Maybe

Lomachenko beats him handily now, Haney is not ready and would have a good first quarter but Loma takes over and I think would stop him late.

Haney whilst ambitious should be kept away from Lomachenko at this point in his career as I think it would possibly be a fight which could ruin him psychologically for future fights.

I'd favor Loma. That being said, the 20 year old Haney is already better than Pedraza. Haney has a hell of a chance, when Campbell, and Linares are causing those types of problems for Loma. The only thing Haney doesn't have is seasoning, and he still seems a bit uncomfortable on the inside.
