Breidis, Dorticos, Gassiev (although he's supposed to be at HW), Tebeti...

What's going on with these guys?

Also, who are the next wave of Cruisers that I should be looking out for?

Michal Cieslak, Ryad Merhy, Arsen Goulamirian, Alexei Egorov, Lawrence Okolie, Kevin Lerena, Evgeny Tischenko, Ruslan Fayfer, Yamil Peralta and Richard Riakporhe are all the next group of cruiserweights with potential to all be titlists and title challengers coming through.

Briedis and Dorticos are supposed to be fighting the WBSS final soon, but there was the whole Glowacki clusterf__k in the semi's for which the WBO ordered a rematch.

Gassiev's body seems to be falling apart. Hope he can come back.

Tabiti just got KTFO in the WBSS semi finals by Dorticos. He can still be a decent contender though.

    For the others.
Prospect Papin recently lost a razor close decision to Makabu due to a KD late in the final round, but he can still make waves.
And Egorov seems to be a good addition too.

Yeah jaysus I forgot to include Papin what an obvious choice. Also I think the WBC ordered Makabu vs Glowacki for the vacant WBC title.

Gassiev is going up to HW. his fight is gonna be in January. Looks like whoever wins between Briedis vs. Dorticos will be the CW king.

Another one to keep an eye on is Olajide William Olatunji.
Won recently and will no doubt be a top CW in 2020

Speaking of Goulamirian. He defends his WBA title tonight in Paris.

Thirteen years later, the Bercy room will vibrate again for the boxers present in the ring. Indeed, Friday, November 15, the AccorHotels Arena will be sold out to host several boxing matches. The most anticipated will be the one opposing the French Arsen Goulamirian (which will bring into play his belt of super-champion WBA light-heavy, obtained without a fight following the end of career of the titleholder, the Russian Dennis Lebedev) to the Australian Kane Watts. The other highlight of the evening will be a 100% French duel between Michel Sort (who will put his Gold WBA super welterweight belt into play) against Cédric Vitu. A face to face that promises to be one of the great Franco-French struggles in history.

Arsen Goulamirian is still undefeated in his pro career, with a record of 24 victories (and 0 defeats), including 16 by KO But the French has not done any fighting since October 20, 2018 (victory against the Australian Mark Flanagan ), More than a year ago. If he has not boxed since, it is totally against his will, because he had to challenge Beibit Shumedov and Denis Lebedev, but these fights were canceled. "I can not wait to box, I'm exploding inside me, " said Goulamirian. It's been a year since I did not box, a year of martyrdom, because my opponents were defiling. I've been to Big Bear since August 8, since I had to rebox on October 12th. So it seems long to me. One day is like a month. "

On Friday, his Australian opponent Kane Watts has a record of 21 wins and 3 losses, including 13 by KO The 37-year-old boxer - who has the WBA Oceania championship belt - will take part in his first World Championship but also in his first fight out of Australia. It is also the first time that he will make a fight in twelve rounds, which surely represents the biggest challenge of his career.

In the ring of Bercy, Arsen Goulamirian will have fists on fire to hope to keep his belt, but also, keep his series of unbeaten. So, will Arsen Goulamirian retain his title of WBA super-light heavyweight champion?

I'd have still liked to have seen Usyk/Dorticos and Breidis/Gassiev to give us the most clear top 4, and to leave no stone unturned.

Brilliant fight in my opinion. It's for the WBC Silver too so we could have one of them facing the winner of Makabu vs Glowacki. I have a feeling Makabu would win both of those and become a contender for top spot at CW and about time too. He's the most exciting in the division bar none.
