 When you're right, shadow, you are positively absolutely right - that is MVC's own subjective and wide-of-mark opinion.

...Canelo lost all twelve rounds clearly. :D

Are you seriously suggesting that Pac and JMM ducked Guerrero? Both Pac and JMM would put a savage beating on and probably stop Guerrero.

Guerrero is utterly average as his career has shown. Pac and JMM would both body him.

A fair truism, if a little reductive for my tastes. "Styles (among other factors, tangible and intangible, but all in all heavily weighted in favor of styles) make fights" is a bit more comprehensive.

How did Devon Alexander beat Maidana 12-0 but Floyd struggled so hard?

Styles, and other factors mentioned contributed. Also, Geurerro managed to fight for belts at 3 weight classes, a level which a relatively small % of pro boxers ever get to. It's not like he was a bum. He had decent size, was crafty, a southy, and pretty tough. It is what it is.

Pac and Guerrero both nicked a few rounds off Mayweather, but none of them were dominant rounds ...and cumulatively, despite all being in the same ballpark numerically in terms of how many rounds they arguably won, neither of them did anywhere near as well against Mayweather (in terms of having prolonged moments of success, doling out meaningful damage, wresting away his precious generalship, or making him truly uncomfortable) as the halfway shot to bits Cotto. :nusenuse:

It just be a crazy and capriciously unpredictable sport like that sometimes. :deal:

Yep how did Maidana arguably beat Floyd? Maidana was willing to attack unrelentlessly. Guerrero did it better than Pac/Jmm.
Pac is one of the best to do it, but he'd annoy the heck out of me the way he'd back off and could never learn to cut off the ring. JMM is just a natural counter puncher and not the style to beat Floyd

Guerrero underrated. No fights takes place at the same time and none are equal.

Maidana arguably best Floyd to people who don’t know how to score fights.
