I can understand inflationary increases but from £15 in 2011, that would be £18ish now. Anything more is unacceptable and just profiteering at the expense of the stupid hoardes who trot out the 'price of a dominos' line. If they weren't so gullible then it wouldn't happen.
I can hear Hearn already! ‘We’ll hold the fight in the middle of nowhere where booze ain’t allowed and then bump up the ppv price so that the uk mugs back at home will have to pay up!’ You know it makes sense Rodney
Infuriating thing is people will still be stupid enough to buy the "lad" stuff and think Eddie is their m8. Eddie is poisonous for boxing
Good man - we will all fall out of the boat together and land in Saudi with a beautiful view of the boxthing. PM on the night if your boat cannot see down the river.
Meh. Dominos must have increased the price of its meal deal to £25 seeing as thats the Matchroom Index benchmark. The cheesy bar stewards
So he gets bounced around the ring by a fat Mexican and the ppv goes up? Sorry, but I hope Joshua gets absolutely iced by Ruiz, and Whyte ends up banned so he can no longer charge these ridiculous prices. £25!!!! Fuming.
Kugan needs to ask why the price has gone up What can Hearn say, really? His top boy got knocked out and then they sold out to Saudi for more money So why is he ALSO increasing the price of the PPV PPV under Hearn has almost doubled in price since he took the helm and people are just accepting it so he gets away with it
If Wilder remains undefeated and Joshua gets his titles back a fight would be close to £40 on PPV. Same with AJ-Fury. And both would also be PPVs on DAZN.
Agree with you on the increase in the U.K. for those fights but no way DAZN put it on PPV they would kill their brand completely. they would simply offer big money in the US to drive subscribers and would run loss leaders in other territories. For instance they will approach Matchroom and buy the rights to all of their territories some of which usually may not pay decent money for it.
