He's only had two really big fights and combined they sold over a million PPV's. Your argument has been quashed time and time again. The man's popularity is clearly growing and when he fights a quality opponent, we'll see that.

Your reaction to the Fury/Wilder 2 figures will be funny.

Growing in what sense? Do you think if they were literally giving tickets away for a fight in Vegas that people would be crowing about popularity if they couldn’t even half fill the venue?

If they were giving away tickets for Joshua v Wallin how many do you think they’d give away? Or even Wilder v Wallin.

Surely the opponent doesn’t matter if you’re popular? As was mentioned in an article linked to another thread, Naz was selling venues out before his opponent was named. Yet your people’s champion can’t even give away enough tickets to half fill his venue.

Fury is a huge con man, I know a few of you are just having a laugh winding people who don't like him up, but the fact is he DUCKED an immediate rematch with Wilder and fought Wallin and Schwartz.

AJ would have been SLAUGHTERED for pulling a move like that and rightly so. It's fortunate that Wilder isn't very popular in the US because if he was Fury would have made British boxing a laughing stock with that move.

If Fury rematches Wilder and wins I will soften my stance on him but right now he's actions outside the ring are embarrasing and he's not making up for it inside the ring either.

I give Joshua a lot of stick but at the very least he fights names we have heard of.

Cult of personality and some of you grown men need to ask yourself why you are taken in by it, even the man's jokes are high school level.

I'll also add Fury fanboys constantly berated Joshua for "marketing himself to casuals" but when Fury does WWE, a Christmas song with Robbie WIlliams and the daytime TV tour they turn around and say it's all great.

Their agenda is plain to see.
