Who had the better inside game?

I know Bowe's infighting ability is overrated but damn, a Duran comparison??? Scary

Duran by a mile from what I've gleaned with my eyes

 

Clearly Duran. Not many compare.

Bowe got tagged way too much to even make this comparison. Even when he won.

 

Duran on the inside was great. Great instincts when in range. He even got some punches in on Hearns. He was smart and knew how to land. Ray found the blueprint.

This is ridiculous. Duran by several miles. Bowe isn't even the best HW inside imo.

 

If this was a post on who was the greatest infighter, Duran, Dempsey, even Denny Moyer,,,,,but Bowe? Really?

 

Bowe was more "inside slugger" than "inside fighter". He basically knew how to trade, rough you up, and land body shots and uppercuts in close range. Duran had a very methodical, strategic approach. Chaos vs controlled chaos.

 

In the post ,using his height and reach I'd say Bowe who was also a better rebounder. Uh, you were talking about basketball right?

I remember hanging out with both of them on a rainy day....


The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play. So we sat in the house All that cold, cold, wet day.

Good times indeed, but Roberto clearly had the best of it inside that day!

 

Duran is in perfect range for those killer nut shots. It would be like the Golota fight only 10x worse as Duran had impeccable timing and better leverage with his short arms.
