My first venture into Bare knuckle, Ring walks for main event starting now, this is gonna be a brutal watch me thinks, anyone else watching this ?
R5 Jesus christ, Lobov down from a left hook and fight stopped, looks like a thumb in the eye and blood pouring everywhere.
I have no sympathy for any idiot that gets injured doing bare knuckle when there are plenty of gloved combat sports to earn a buck in. Like people who ride bicycles or motorcycles without a helmet. Ooh, yeah, look at you. So bad ass. Don't cry to me when you wipe out.
It was like watching 2 blokes fighting in the street, not much skill involved and will never reach UFC level in combat sports level imo. Wasn't bowled over with it tbh, just seems to be middle of the road MMA fighters looking to re invent themselves or looking for a last decent payday, won't be tuning in again.
This is what happens when you fight with bare knuckles. It´s ridiculously hard to utilize proper technique. Good technique equals power. Power and bare knuckles don´t mesh at all. Both Artem and Knight are actually decent strikers for their level. They would make for a solid fight in actual boxing.
Tough way to make **** all money as mostly washed up fighters fight to be the big fish in a small pond. Lobovs has always been below average but he's a tough SOB and his face after every 1 of his last few bare knuckle fights shows how brutal the sport can be.
Watch there 1st fight if you want brutality. Their fight last night doesnt do #1 any justice. It was a fight for the century. Last night, Jason completely changed up his game plan and out boxed Artem. Jim Alers vs Jason Knight bare knuckle next is gna be wild
Bobby Gunn would still put a whooping on anyone in this field. I'd watch him and Beltran though. That would be fun. Old guard still mops the floor with the younger one.
