And I do think he loses to Ruiz again but even so.

He got beat up in that first fight, bashed up and dropped multiple times

But unlike say pillow fists Fury, Joshua is going straight back in there.

See that's all I really ask, and yes I can laugh because Joshua isn't at the level his fanboys claimed but keeping it real there isn't any shame in that, at least the man wants to test himself and isn't scared to take his licks.

He aint got a choice unless he wants to look like the biggest Pussay in Boxing. Its a return fight and your praising him ?? That's how it should be. With Fury, he had a much better outcome in his fight, if he never fought Wilder again he can hold his head up high

Yeah I feel the same way. Joshua unlike the other top boxers is going after the best opponents he can get one after another. No shame in taking a loss, everyone that is anyone loses fights.

Joshua wins the rematch and he’s going to be a massive A-side over fury and wilder.

    Why?

In many peoples eyes he should never have lost in the first place.

Wilder literally knocked Fury out cold.

Fury was rendered unconscious by Wilder

Only a freak miracle of Fury's brain rewiring by his head crashing into the canvas saved him.

And fury ran and hid from a rematch

The gypsy peasent is scared to death of Wilder.

But he just has no choice... To say that Ruiz is too good for him so he let all his titles go would be an absolute shock.
What other options? To fake an injury? At least he has a good chance in the rematch and it's also a huge payday as well.

Well, he could, yes, but... He lost to "a fat guy on a short notice". Because good luck explaining how good Ruiz really is to an army of casual Joshua's fans.

AJ put Ruiz down hard in the 3rd, first time JRJ has seen the canvas in his career, Joshua then made a crucial mistake and tried to finish Ruiz but he wasn’t as badly hurt as Joshua thought.

The shot from Ruiz behind Joshua’s ear ended the fight or should have done but Joshua tried to recover getting knocked down another twice before the ref ended it.

A more patient Joshua wouldn’t have jumped on Ruiz but he wanted a spectacular win on his US debut and that proved his undoing.

Who knows with the rematch, Joshua will be more patient, looks like he’ll be lighter, is definitely wiser and will have trained specifically for Ruiz.

Ruiz will have a full camp in preparation for Joshua, will be more confident of winning and may have grown as a fighter as many do after winning the World Title. However, he has celebrated hard, put weight on which he will have toiled hard to shed and maybe, having achieved his life’s goal, his ambition has dulled”.

The upshot is that there were so many mitigating factors in that first fight and just as many dynamic changes for the second, we really don’t know wtf is going to happen in the rematch!

The difference between his actions and Fury's actions:

Joshua lost his belts by underdog KO on his own massive promotion and if he doesn't rematch Ruiz right away, he will lose face and may have to wait some time to fight for the belts again, thus losing a lot of A-side privilege. The rematch has been set up entirely in his favour, from money to location.

Fury didn't lose the fight against Wilder, he officially drew and actually won as the underdog in the eyes of most. He thus didn't lose a fight and didn't lose any belts and didn't have to rematch to save face. Thus rematching Wilder away from home again for the belt he just won, on Wilder's promotion, was a stupid move. Instead he got himself more promotional power so that when he does fight he's not at such a disadvantage. And this fight is optional, he doesn't need it to save his 'brand' and save Matchroom.

Whether he should have or not, the public perception has switched from a 3-way championship struggle to 4-way. Ruiz is in that circle now. Joshua would have a win over Wlad, Whyte, Ruiz, Parker, Povetkin - the others don't even come close.
