I fear more and more of these events will take place in the near future. Not only due to the promoters, executives and such, but due to youtubers that see this as a way to make a massive amount of $$$. Have some fake beef with a fellow youtuber, load up on Mexican beef and duke it out for millions of dollars.

 

Yeah, things like that. And I won't be surprised if Canelo fights this Masvidal guy next, for example.

 

I feel they have let the cat out of the bag, and we cant put it back in, YouTubers will infiltrate the sport on mass now , I just worry for small hall fighters who are not youtubed savvy and will be left off cards for some kid who does youtube videos rapping about their homework or something stupid.

In respect of the fight, I have respect for any lad willing to train and get in the ring, but the two lads have two odd years of training yet looked like complete novices, that should never headline the fighter over lads who have fought since they were seven or 8, seems wrong.

The American Logan was a weight class bigger, had a good form jab that should have won it easily, occasional check hook, but seemed unwilling to throw any right hands to follow them up, maybe because he didn't want to get hurt (perhaps he had been hurt in the gym and was gun shy), who knows.

The English lad JJ was far more aggressive but was off-balance, wildly throwing wide hooks, lacked any boxing ability whatsoever, it was worse than the white-collar level at times.If he had gone in against a pro like that, any decent pro would of stepped outside and hurt him badly with a right cross or two, he was open to it all night.

I'd advise them both well away from taking on any decent pro boxers.
