I like Kessler in this fight. Kessler would win the early rounds, Canelo comes in mid fight and Kessler finishes the stronger. Kessler 8-4 UD.
Agree, however De La.Hoyas judges will see it otherwise according to the brown envelope they always gets before a canelo fight...
Kessler for me. He looks GGG-like in many ways, and since Golovkin already gave Canelo hell on earth twice, what would a bigger and younger version (even if slightly short on the skills) do to Canelo? Canelo would be walking around with 70's style dark glasses for a few weeks.
Kessler would quit on his stool in eight, he just was never great. Kessler never had the cojones to actually win big fights. Never put the petal to the floor when it counted. Canelo-Froch now that's an ATG fight
Kessler would have a tough time with Canelo`s high gurd and fast counters, Canelo would beat him without all the thrills of Calzaghe v Kessler.
I guess your dumbass is forgetting who handed Froch his first loss. He put the metal to the floor and kicked Froch's ass late in that first fight. Anyway, prime Kessler (06-07) would beat Canelo. Canelo is overrated on an epic level at the moment. Are yall REALLY impressed that he had to come from behind to stop a shot Kovalev? Kessler in his prime had one of the better jabs in the sport, and had better legs and more quickness than a 120-year-old Kovalev. And even when Canelo does land, Kessler had a dependable chin.
Kessler has never been stopped as a pro and, as far as I recall, was put down once in his pro career. I don't see Canelo stopping him....
