Well Kessler was a career 168 and Kovalev a career 175

If they met at 171lbs prime vs prime, nah I don't think Kovalev would knock Kessler into next weak, Kessler never showed any notable chin frailties where Kovalev showed plenty plus heart frailties. He was an on top bully boy with mental weakness and little fighting heart, opposite to Kessler really.

I could see Kessler getting through a rough early patch and Kovalev folding late on as he usually does whenever he's hit back by a good opponent.

Kessler was no *****, get that straight.

Kessler goes full blown berserker on him and violates him ruthlessly until his poop chute falls out, and that's just from his jab alone, you know.... reverberations.:sisi1 Seriously though, prime Mikkel bashes Canelo and Golovkin senseless. As does Froch.

Not a chance. Prime GGG smokes prime Kessler. If Calzaghe can make Kessler cry with a body shot, prime Golovkin breaks his ribs

Kessler ain't Matthew Macklin or Curtis Stevens, brother, some of you guys need to come back to reality.

Nah, even prime GGG loses to both he and Froch. Said that before GGG hit the wall, sticking by that. I also think Abraham would have gone the distance with him as well, but lost. If Murray can almost see the final bell, a much bigger just as sturdy Kessler does and then some.

Froch has nothing for GGG. He was tough as nails but levels below GGG in terms of skill. GGG wouldnt make it a war with a bigger Iron Cobra, but he would take whatever came his way and out skill him. Kessler would be tougher, but again Gennady's skill would be too much. Both see the final bell though im with you there

He has punching power, a hard authoritative jab, an iron chin, underrated boxing skills and size. We've yet to see GGG face a real 168lber, who's to know how well his chin holds up and how effective his punching power would be. For all we both know, he might be relegated to being yet another too small for the division light hitter like AA.

We've seen him against roidy cruiser Jacob. His chin held up fine and he dropped him

Froch does have underrated boxing skills but they're nowhere near Gennady's

Prime Golovkin couldnt even smoke Martin Murray.

Wouldn't have happened anyway. Borat would have ducked a prime Kessler.

GGG punches harder than Calzaghe did.

Froch didn`t use the jab enough and was too easy to hit, GGG would out-jab him.

Nobody could out jab GG he has an amazing, consistant jab, Kessler`s jab didn`t look that effective v Calzaghe.

No way would prime Kovalev lose to prime Kessler. And yes Kessler could be cracked. Watch the Allan Green fight.

GGs jab was too slow and his reach too short. Froch has a 5 inch reach advantage over him.

Kessler and Groves had good jabs for 168. Fast , long and powerful. Froch is arguably 4-0 against those two , but realistically 3-1.

Kessler struggled with the Cobra jab in the rematch.

I love how everybody "would have" beaten Golovkin, except for when they had the chance to face him, they were nowhere to be seen. Froch had a chance to fight GGG, and when the call came, he hid behind his wife's skirt and his new nose job
