He could not finish Donaire who is 37. It would be one thing if Donaire fought to survive, but he didn't. He went to war with Inoue. Inoue is a solid fighter, but his power is way overrated. Joe Smith Jr. for example hits far harder than Inoue p4p. Wilder hits a lot harder. Beterbiev hits much harder. Even Gervonta Davis punches harder p4p. I'd say Inoue's power p4p is on a Nicolas Walters level. Solid, good, but not great.
Joe Smith's a huge 175 pounder but he couldn't KO Sullivan Barrera, blown up SMW Bivol who was giving away a lot of weight to the Cuban did Smith couldn't stop Otis Griffin who has been stopped x 7 Inoue would KO Smith and I say that as someone who likes Smith

If Smith had 1% of Inoue skill you wouldnt be saying this. Smith landed one grazing blow on Bivol and he was out on his feet.
I always thought the guy was overhyped. Is he a very good fighter? Of course but it always got out of control.
How? Inoue was being regarded by a large amount of posters here as THE hardest hitter p4p in the sport. When that was always and completely flat out untrue. It just was not accurate.

Right. Anyone can get rid of Emnanuel Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Payano and Jamie McDonnel within a total of 5 minutes in their 4th weight classes. Makes sense if you’ve never seen Inoue fight before and are talking out of your ass.
I mean those are all good fighters, but none of them register on the special scale. Radar wouldnt even find them on the special scale. I'm grading on a curve here. Inoue was being proclaimed the hardest hitter in the sport p4p. When that was not true at all.
Not to mention a prime Nonito couldn't do anything with Narvaez while Inoue flattened him in 2 rounds.
They sure as hell register on a more special scale than Andrzej Fonfara or Artur Szpilka, that’s for sure. It’s one thing to disagree with Inoue being the p4p hardest puncher, but to try to make it sound like a fact, to try to claim he has no case whatsoever for being the p4p hardest puncher just because he went the distance with Donaire just makes you sound dumb.
