If/when Fury gets nailed and doesn’t get up. You’re probably the worst for it on here to be fair; you seem to think Fury is ‘literally unhittable.’ But a guy who gets decked as many times as he has been over his career is most definitely not unhittable and sooner or later he’ll get stopped.

I think the coaching situation will take the blame as the Fury fanboys are absolutely adamant he’s an ATG defensive boxer.

I actually said "extremely hard to hit" and that's true when he boxes conservatively. Ask anyone who's sparred with him and watch fights like Chisora 2, Hammer, Klitschko and indeed Wilder for reference. He can obviously be hit because he's a 260 pound 6 foot 9 target.

There's nothing "inevitable" about Fury/Wilder 2. 90% of fans had Fury winning, including yourself. How is a Wilder KO inevitable?

I won't be making excuses anyway. Fury is 31 and fully fit. If he makes bad decisions in camp that's on him.

Me and my friend were talking today, both of us are seriously concerned if Fury steps in with Wilder again we are going to see something horrific go down.

Fury got lucky first time around, God smiled upon him. I don't think he lucks out twice.

I am of same opinion. As much as I don't like the latest developments, I don't want to see him hurt but I doubt the fight happens.

I think Ben will remain in the corner. Recently finished Fury’s autobiography and not much really said about his split from Peter other than it had to happen and that there is absolutely no relationship between them now.

Fair's fair - it's a belter. Reminds me of the Divine Comedy.

Fury is capable of out boxing Wilder and winning without being on the end of any KO shot. He’s also capable of hurting Wilder. That said, Wilder is also capable of icing Fury. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Tony Hayers will implode when he hears this song - the man is a Boxthing Star, Wrestlling Star, Mental Health Champion and now POP STAR

Yeah but there’s no real surprises in it because Fury, like most ‘celebrities’, lives his life out on social media 24/7 and on IFLTV anyway.

Looking at some of the major contributions, the thread title should be amended

Tyson Fury - Overrated, underrated, Tony Hayered or somewhere in between?

Hands up, I always thought Fury was overrated following the Klitschko fight and I was not a fan of his style but after last night I see him as a special fighter. Brave, courageous and fearless with skills to match, Tyson Fury 2.0 has won me over. In my opinion an ATG status beckons if he can beat the best and most deserving of his era and that’s Joshua, Whyte and probably Usyk.
