Fury was knocked unconscious and his head hitting the canvas woke him up, it's a fluke but it happens occasionally.

lol...usually hitting your head is what knocks you out, not wakes you up.

Plus, his head didn't violently slam into the canvas, it merely bumped it.

Hardly enough to wake a man supposedly knocked unconscious.

Face it, Wilder is distinctly average.

Foreman put guys down when it didn't even look like he hit them hard.

You look at the KO of Moorer. That punch was thrown from short distance, no loading up at all.

His defense is not good. Eventually he will be hit and knocked out. But he has a lot of heart. he will just sign to fight the guy again and be 50/50 to win. He leaves his chin out there too much to not be stopped eventually.

If it was true he would KO 140 pound Charlie Z cold. However,he punched him multiple times, even when Charlie was on his knees without knocking him out. Charlie was able to stand up and walk.
Who in top 10 did fighter KO? Old Ortiz?

No, he doesn't have a "freakishly powerful wallop".

He has slightly better than average power, it's just those around him have average power and so he seems to be something he's not.

Face it, he's the most overrated heavyweight champion for a long time.

The guys he's hit flush are all ****. And his best opponents have all got up. I have no doubt he hits unbelievably hard (top 3) but his credentials as a puncher are ass.
If Foreman landed flush on Duhapus, Spzilka, Arreola or Stiverne, they're going down and that's where there staying. With Wilder they either stayed on their feet or got back up. They didn't when they (Duhapus and Arreola) were hit by Povetkin and Stiverne.

Your not the only one who's extensively watched the ATG power punchers. Upon my review, I've seen Wilder is more explosive than Foreman or Liston, that's the difference between them imo. Wilder has so much snap and torque on that right that it instantly puts people out. Whereas Foreman had power that was like getting hit by a sock full of snooker balls, it was crushing not explosive.
That is imo why Tyson looks/was so dangerous, his speed combined with accuracy as well as his natural power makes for a better one punch KO artist than guys like Liston or Louis.

The terminology is imo the issue here. Power is different to Explosiveness. Being the one punch KO artist is different to being the most powerful.

Styles also need to be considered. Wlad and Lewis clearly hit with the best of them. Both could've been KO machines if they fought less defensively imo, especially Wlad.
Then you have the crux of lack of film. Guys like Shavers really struggle from this, imagine if we had all of his KOs? His highlight reel would be brutal. Then on top of that you have guys like Ali, Norton and Holmes claiming that he hit them harder than anyone, he'd be an unquestionable no1. But we don't so...
Of thee guys you named, I'd say Louis was the lightest punching, but he was the most accurate, most complete, fluid puncher I've seen. He also structures his punches as perfect as I've seen.

BUT! Wilder didn't stop his best two opponents, he dropped both but failed to stop either. He doesn't have the excuse of being past it like Liston was for Ali or the heat of Zaire like Foreman. If someone said that Wilder was the best HW one punch KO artist, they'd here no argument from me, but as of right now his punching credentials aren't close to that of Liston, Louis, Foreman, Marciano, Tyson or even someone like Ingo Johanson.
So for pure power? Gimme Baer or Shavers. But Wilder imo is the quickest SHW ever.

    Whatever Steph

This is the single stupidest thing ever posted.... Go read about unconsciousness and what happens in the process in returning to consciousness before typing such drivel

Fury's knee during the whole knockdown tells you the full story, CONSCIOUS MUSCLE MEMORY... stop making BS up... Fury is just an attention whor3.

    Jeez

p.s Fury should of had longer

Well if you're going to question Wilders opposition I wouldn't select Marciano's as a comparison.
