Will he ? i mean he will not have the same size advantages he did against GGG and Derevyanchenko, Canleo etc

Jacobs will be fighting guys his size now , I believe the sulecki fight tells us alot sulecki had a couple of fights at 168 before fighting jacobs , And he gave jacobs alot of problems being slightly taller than jacobs at 6,1 he was touching jacobs up and down.

Most of the champs at 168 are younger than he is bigger ,younger ,fresher and not as damgaged as jacobs

Plant height :6,1 age: 27 74 inches reach

Benavidez height: 6,1 age :22 77 inches reach

Callum Smith height: 6,3 age 29 78 inches reach

Billy Joe Saunders height 5,11 age 30 71 inches reach

    Yes I think he will.

He will definitely be a top 5 player, I’d expect him to win a title but he will take an L or two.

Yes, he will be more comfortable at that weight since he won't have to struggle anymore.

I think he beats them all at 168. There is nobody of GGG’s or Canelo’s caliber at super middle

I wouldn't pick him to beat any of the guys you listed.

I really like him but I think he may be on the slide.

He probably needs to pick his fights at this weight v carefully.

Hope I'm wrong and moving up in weight gives him a new lease of life.

Jacobs is way ahead of most of 168 skills wise. The only question is how much he has left in the tank.

Jacobs is a phenomenal fighter and will have success at whatever weight class he decides to fight in. I know one thing for certain, there is nobody at 160-168 good enough to just wipe him down. He might lose a couple, butnif/when he does, it will be razor close and a performance worthy of him still holding his head high. I think he beats Plant and BJS without a doubt. BJS has looked AWFUL lately.

Jacobs should be stronger at 168. He still has those short arse arms though. I'd pick him over Saunders, maybe Plant. Smith should outbox him, and I think Benevidez would be a fun fight. I assume Jacobs is better than Dirrell.

Whats crazy is that Jacobs is 32 years old and is viewed as "being on the decline"
He didnt take much punishment in the Canelo fight. GGG took him to the brink. The Chenko fight was a tough one.
He was winning the Pirog fight until that punch from hell.
    Quillin he KOd in 1
He beat Arias very easily and wide
Sulecki gave him fits thats for sure
His tank should be pretty full. At least 4-5 good fights left until he starts sliding

I think he will do good he will be a top 5 guy. 168 I think he beats BJS because he is naturally bigger at 160 its a different fight. Jacobs v Smith is a good fight I slightly favour Smith 60-40. No chance he fights any of the PBC guys like Benavidez and Plant.

This “in the decline” talk started specifically because Canelo edged him and it has to fit certain posters’ narratives. It’s creepy.

I started hearing that after his fight with Derevyenchenko. Of course, Chenko is a tough out for anybody

Nothing to do with Canelo on my part at least. He wasn't great against Arias. Sulecki actually fought really well but Danny wasn't as convincing as I thought he'd be. Then he seemed to fade in the Dere fight. Just felt as if he wasn't able to maintain the level he previously could through a long fight. Could be weight related of course also.
