If AJ gets stopped by Ruiz AGAIN its game over for him

The only fact needed is you don't plummet from 85/100 million worth a fight over 2 losses and particular against the same guy some of the best fights were 2 and 3 matches . You don't fall from grace when you are in an AJ position over night , not in reality anyway. His stock will only grow if its a good fight again.

For AJ to plummet he would have to not only lose numerous times but do something really dumb outside the ring negative like rob a bank or beat up a hooker or something. Wlad wasn't the face of boxing when he fought Sanders,that nonsense to suggest AJ will plummet based on a fight that wasn't even competitive and a somewhat unknown then Wlad globally ,come'on that's all you got ? lol

 

No definitely not, would still love to see him fight Fury, Wilder and Pulev.

No idea why people have this fetish of the unbeatable fighter, there never was really one, and never will be.

All I want to see is great fights, and boxers giving it there best shots, and taken on the toughest challenges regardless of if they can win, or not.

He might not be the $$$ juggernaut he once was but he will still be earning as much coin as anybody else just by going back and KO'ing bums..

There are so many big money fights for him in the UK alone that he can still earn more than Wilder ever will..

Plus Ruiz wont be hanging on to those belts very long (lets not forget he is below Parker level) so he can easily get them back off some one else will less of a chin...

Plus I can see Wlad v2.0 going forward which might not be pretty but it is bloody effective, especially against smaller men..

His motivation will be the biggest question.

Financially there is no way he starts drawing only 1 or 2 mil a fight if he loses again, does he take a hit, yes but you are talking he may only make 8 -10 mil for his next fight or two.

His next fight wpuld be something like a homecoming vs Chisora at the O2 which would still sell 20k tickets and quite a lot of ppv's.

It'll be if he decides he wants to attempt a rebuild or if he Is satisfied.

If AJ loses another then Wilder might find his balls and take him on.

No, I think even if he loses against Ruiz he can still be a top fighter. I don't think he'll retire if he loses again. He will need to make changes, such as changing his trainer, which a second loss will probably prompt him to do. If he makes the necessary technical and training adjustments, he can still have a good career.

 

Of course you do in todays world online world. The rise and fall to/from fame is faster then ever. Look at mcgregor and roussey.

 

After AJ gets stopped again... the AJ Hype Train can return to UK to Perform to the Choir in his Safe Space and fight Chisora & David Price for $20 million a pop to packed stadiums, noone outside of the UK will care or pay for it.

 

McGregor hasn't lost popularity hes still the most marketable fighter in MMA so I have no idea what you are talking about. If he were to fight Pacman we all know how that goes. lol
