Wade Bruins - the new Dustin Nichols?

    The guy weighed in at 550 lbs in his pro debut - that is exactly 100 lbs more than legendary Dustin Nichols' highest weight ever registered in his pro fights and 85 lbs more than the previous weight world record which has belonged to Frank Finnegan (465 lbs).

    And Alfredo Cervantes!!!! Cervantes made his pro debut in 1996, winning a 4 round UD at 154lbs.
    It was his only win til Bruins :lol: ****ing brilliant!

    Bet he doesn't have the speed and slickness of Dustin Nichols. Dustin Nichols used to weigh himself on scales that only went up to 450lbs so as not to intimidate his opponents too much. You can be sure DN weighed more than that fairly often.

    Andy Ruiz went on a Snicker binge after viewing this thread. That man is as huge as a sky scraper & he's as tall as he's wide.

    Is he only 18????? If he starts training with big Andy there's a real shot Bruins might join the 1Ton club. We need to add more mass to the baby phat

    Apparently they fought to raise money for Cervantes' wife who has/had an illness. They are also good friends and Bruins said he didn't want to hurt Cervantes in this fight. His ambition is to eventually fight Anthony Joshua. Joshua could have brought him in as a sparring partner but he didn't get the call.
