i say round 5, he's going to be waiting patiently for the hook counter punch he caught wilder with in the 7th round and then he wont let wilder get away this time.

Lets hope he does. Wilder took $3m for this fight. Shows he is cherry picking.. Crap money compared to what he could earn.. Hope Ortiz starches him..

Watch out for the left hook Luis! Wilder's coming with the left hook!

Wilder doesn't look nervous as I believe he was for the first fight. He's looking more confident. Ortiz is looking happy though, he's sacrified so much. Was looking on his diet for the first time, had tough physical trainings and didn't see his family all over the training camp. He's releaved now and can't wait for the fight. And neither can I! :ibutt

I pick Ortiz to win within 9 rounds.

Pretty sure this thread won’t age well.
I Expect Ortiz to have success boxing in the early rounds as the better technician with enough power to force Wilder into playing things safe. But the fact that Wilder brings the biggest weapon into the battle with his historically lethal right hand means, as Fury found out in 2018, that Ortiz could be on his way to pitching a masterpiece and still succumb to one lethal shot.

Wouldn’t surprise me. He was on his way to knocking wilder out the first fight when they gave wilder 20 secs after the bell for the doctor to check him.
Plus his analysis of the first fight was right on.

A lot of intangibles again in this one.

Ortiz has more of a chance in this one .

    1. Better shape.

    2. Has access to fights of wilder since where he shouldn't even be holding a belt and further exploited holes he can study .

3, Wilder going under 220 again is a very bad idea win or lose and I knew that in the first fight when he was 215 the same weight he probably will weigh at fight time.

Only a few concerns with Ortiz and that's time out of the ring, for him being more active helps and he doesn't have it this time being ouit triple the time so no one will know how that point plays out until a few rounds .

X factors are...Ortiz has bad showings since and a bit older but he is in shape at a better weight and the better fighters can show up when they need to ,not just that Wilder knows he has a dent after Fury fight and he was forced to decline the AJ fight by the ppl who actually control him . This took a toll behind closed doors and Wilder is a con man who's ego is even more now he actually thinks hes the greatest thing ever for HW boxing that's how delusional this guy is its borderline mental issue stuff I even saw he wanted to fight Fly weights to prove how great he was in a recent article ? You cant ,make this stuff up.

This could be a down fall I already caught some things with him which adds to possible unfocused behavior vs a guy wanting to take his head off and gets a second chance to do it.

Im STILL going with Wilder by SD ,I think Ortiz will outpoint him but Wilder and his event basically will protect him ,he came in lighter then he should so hell have more energy to avoid an actual fight if it becomes to dangerous for him.

The weights here favor Ortiz nearing 235 ,he needed lighter feet then last time beyond his meds ,he'll get both this time but is it to late ?

He has the power to stop him and Wilder does leave himself open to land his punches so it could happen but that would be after Ortiz takes punches himself. I doubt it. Wilder is faster and should land first. It is up to Ortiz to take the punches and hang in there and land. Wilder has probably improved. Ortiz has a very good punchers chance, but Wilder is faster and will land first and probably stop him early.
