Good card from Liverpool (again). Glover vs Billam Smith Farrell vs Dodd Fowler vs Scarff Smith vs Ryder. Glover was gaining some decent momentum and looked to have a bit of potential before his shock loss last time, Billam Smith showed he’s not one to be overlooked on the domestic scene against Riakporhe so it should be a good fight. I’m going to slightly favour the latter. Fazza vs Dodd could be fight of the night. Tom sells a good few tickets and Masher brings **** loads over from Birkenhead so the atmosphere will be pumping for this. Farrell has flatter to deceive since turning pro and Masher for all his deficiencies is one game fella. Farrell in for a tough nights work. I’m going with a Dodd close decision, maybe an SD. Heard decent things about Scarff so looking forward to that test for Fowler. Fowler gets hit a lot, likes trade and he can bang himself so again this has great potential. Fowler needs to put out a statement here. Scarff doesn’t appear to be the biggest of punchers so I can imagine a few rounds of feeling each other out before Fowler loses any respect for his power and starts to walk through him and stop him around 7/8 round mark. Smith vs Ryder. Again Smith needs to put out a big statement here. A BIG one though. Should have kicked in after the WBSS but for whatever reason he hasn’t. Time to go out there and cement his position as number 1 in the division. Smith via TKO round 4. oh and Tennyson vs Evans!
Any reason why Liam or Stephen are not on this card? Chisora v Price was enjoyable but in hindsight would have been nice to have Price on tonight in a winnable fight. You just can’t beat that feeling of uneasiness when the bell’s about to ring for a Pricey showdown.
A good card, and one which should be the norm for a Sky Sports Saturday fight night. Looking forward to all the fights on it actually. I want to see Evans vs. Tennyson as well but that's not on the telly, it's on Facebook which I don't have. Does anybody know if it might be on YouTube?
Haha at Price. Swifty is actually on the show. Liam is going to headline a show in February/March against Vargas probably in Liverpool but possibly stateside. i think because he’s a “headliner” it’s hard to pay him and Callum on the same Saturday fight night bill.
Good post, mate. I think Glover is one of them who turns up when he’s underdog but let’s his performance drop loads when he’s expected to win. I think he’ll do a number on Billam-Smith tonight. I also expect Masher to do a job on Farrell too. I think there’s money to be made on this fight. His mate has told me Masher is looking very good in the gym and I don’t think Farrell will be able to keep him off. Definitely going the distance. Boxing is all about the levels and taking one step at a time to climb those levels...Scarff has to climb way too many to match Fowler imo. I think Smith dominates until about round 8 and Ryder finishes strongly but not doing enough on the cards.
I think this one is being shown on Facebook for those expecting it on the Sky Sports, just in case you miss it.

I had Billam Smith to beat Riakporhe but he got manhandled a bit in a scruffy fight. Glover's a neat enough boxer and gets lots of clean shots in, but he's the slightly smaller man this time. I favour Billam Smith. Is this streamed live on their FB page? If so, am having a couple quid on it.
Nah I pay but I'm on a boycott of PPV's for last few months. My monthly bill was getting crazy after adding Sky and BT matches to Virgin.
