Tennyson behind but looks as fit as a lop.

 

Cracking match. Evans brave but eventually cornered. Ref was decent.

 

I missed the start and put that fight on midway through round 2 and Evans looked on the verge of getting stopped already plus heard on commentary that he got dropped in round 1, so well done to him getting back into the fight, I definitely didn't see that fight getting to round 11 after the punishment Evans was taking in round 2 but Tennyson just out-gunned him in the end and Evans took a bit of a doing. His face was in a right state. Good stoppage from the ref. Enjoyable fight.

 

Yeah I joined in round 3 so missed that first action. Tennyson was just walking forward into 2-3-4 shots for a few rounds but his plan worked out. Against a harder hitting opponent he can't repeat that.

 

Tennyson looked very strong in there, you wouldn't have guessed he was the one out the two of them who was fighting at featherweight not that long ago, he just bullied Evans at times and just walked through most of his punches. He looks a lot better at lightweight IMO.

 

Tennyson is great to watch so heavy handed, and Evans has always been a good to watch domestic level fighter, tough warrior. This fight should definitely have been on TV later on in the night!

but ... imagine if Tennyson had Evans' chin, or if Evans had Tennysons power! Both would be world level I think

Yes, entertaining, but looking at Tennyson's quotes about bigger fights next year and then looking at the light division, he's some way off.

Well done Masher lad. Boxed well for them first 3 rounds. How that judge had it a draw I will never know. Unlucky on Farrell but he was gonna lose that fight.
