    Santa Cruz is leaning forward, arms glued to his chest, letting fly with low hooks at the sides whenever Flores encroaches and opens up. Flores is able to shimmy aside so that many of Santa Cruz's shots roll off his outer hip or get deflected off his forearms while he casts his rod in repeatedly, fishing patiently for a straight combination on the face. He starts to dial that in, just grazing but still connecting, from side angles while scurrying around Santa Cruz, who instinctively folds up like a lawn chair to lean in and go to work digging body shots.

    Santa Cruz is wiggling his right fist by his chin and smiling amiably in between violent exchanges of stiff facial jabs and swooping underhanded body shots delivered both ways in about equal measure. Flores tentatively floating around Santa Cruz, watching for a vulnerability, then getting impatient and jumping in with high thrusts before switching to uppercuts, as Santa Cruz plants his roots, wide leg base, and thumps away on Flores' body after skewering him with a couple of jabs on the way in.
