Ah. Okay, so part of the issue here is that you just don't actually know how to read betting odds for boxing. Santa Cruz being -5000 =/= Flores himself being a +5000 underdog. That isn't how that works.

In the screenshot you've posted, on that website, Flores is a 13-to-1 underdog.

    Round 6

Santa Cruz is...doing his thing. Applying pressure, some jabs, some body shots. Flores running and occasionally leaping in to flurry. Nothing else to report. Fairly boring.

    10-9 Santa Cruz

    59-55 Santa Cruz

Ah, sorry - was conflating what you said with the commentator who keeps repeating that Flores was a "40 to 1" underdog ...which AFAIK isn't true, anywhere.

He literally just keeps moving forward with high guard and throws punches with little technique, doesn't even have power. And he keeps getting gifted these fake titles one after another. Surely at his heart he must be aware that he is not a real champion, not even close.

Egad. The farm, though? On a not-exactly through-and-through proven commodity in B-Fig?

Not the farm haha just my winnings. Ceja has been sparked in rounds 1 and 4 by guys not even on Figs level. All the handicappers I follow that predict fights had Fig winning by KO somewhere in 12.

    Rough sledding my friend.

Santa Cruz is still being LSC, in second gear. Flores unable to neutralize that, holding a lot now. Yawn.

    10-9 Santa Cruz

This match is just a waste of time. Its a mismatch om paper and the actual fight its boring as hell. Flores moving to make it 12 rnds and LS content to just chase and tag.

    Round 8

Santa Cruz is starting to mix in some overhand rights on the way in, effective, but Flores is literally snaking his arm over Santa Cruz's, then sinuously working it up so until they are fully ensnared, tying him up in knots. Thankfully, despite having not issued warnings, Tony Weeks recognizes the flagrancy of this ongoing fouling issue and docks Flores a point. Santa Cruz is plodding on and rocking Flores regularly with high right hands now that Weeks has made Flores reconsider his grabbing strategy.

    10-8 Santa Cruz

    79-72 Santa Cruz
