Ortiz got too cocky, I guess winning 6 really 7 rounds in a row does that. That right hand was so hard I'm shocked Ortiz got up at 11

Wilder never connected on chin but still got the KO. Amazing power!

The thing that jumped out at me was he seemed unusually wide-eyed on impact - but he must have been at least a little more alert than it seemed. But I never figured he'd get up, so I'm in agreement.

Wont take the HW division seriously again until Wilder, Fury, Joshua and Ruiz are taken out to pasture. Imagine taking this joke division seriously.

Ortiz fought a good fight, but that one punch is all it takes. Wilder had his usual labored, awkward style but damn he can take you out at any time. no room for error, and even if you don't make an error, he can still take you out. I want to see him fight Ruiz who actually has fast combos and the chin. That's the fight that interests me

Wilder looked like a real Bum squad member tonight. Hopeless against old azz Cuban. If Ortiz doesn't eat this punch he beats up Wilder next round.

I think to wait until later rounds was Wilder's plan. Anyway, Ortiz was almost schooling him. But that power, damn...
Wilder's ratio of skills/power is ridiculously asymmetrical.

It didn’t look like Wilders biggest punch at all to me.

What a shame for Ortiz, he was fighting great. Hardly got caught until the KO, just got a bit too encouraged by his success in that round. Wilder seemed happy to lose every round, although seemed a dangerous game to me given the pace. Ortiz should have continued playing it safe, if he could have gone another couple of rounds Wilder would have had to start opening up and leaving himself vulnerable. That said, no matter how bad Ortiz was making Wilder look, he's done it again and picked the right millisecond to unleash that freakish power.

Ortiz was winning tonight, definitely! But that power is the greatest we've ever seen in the HW division.

Wilder's power is really his saving grace and the ultimate x-factor in any fight he's involved in I've witness him being out boxed multiple times late into fights but it never fails that devastating power eventually comes through.. scary guy yikes

LOL@ all the sore loosers here....

    Wilder is Fighter, bar none

Bring the Bodybuilder.......he will be decapitated while his fans will claim he was winning rounds.....this is the reason Tyson Fluffy will never step into the Ring with Wilder again
