    Agreed.

Then again, good luck trying to get Tyson in with a legit top challenger.

Parker, Pulev, Ortiz, AJ, Ruiz, Povetkin, Usyk, Whyte... He will fight none of them.

Struggle with another nobody (yet say it's not the "real" Tyson), lose to Wilder, trilogy with Chisora - job done!

He’s beaten Seferi, Pianeta, Schwarz and Wallin in the last three years.

Ability wise he’s up there but even Wilder’s limited opposition is several steps above that. If Joshua beats Ruiz I think you have a serious question over whether you rank Ruiz above him as well.

He should drop out of the top 10

He hasn't fought a top 50 heavyweight for a year, he's irrelevant in boxing.

He is THE Heavyweight Champion of the World, still the biggest prize in sports, he cannot be more relevant!

The argument I take as, how he ranks against the contenders, and as usual Unforgiven has a point...

    You are joking

He's the "holder" of a mickey mouse "title" which is actually vacant as he retired after failing a drugs test.

I can't rank Fury in the t top 10 at present. The last time Fury beat someone in the top 40 was over 4 years ago.

I don’t think Fury himself even thinks he’s ‘the’ heavyweight champion. When you’re defending your title against Sefer Seferi you might as well accept it’s about as relevant as Audley Harrison’s WWF belt or whatever it was called.

I understand you are die hard who does not consider Wlad won the title, fair enough, but I disagree.

Mickey Mouse title holder... plenty were nowhere near that big, indeed arguably Ali is the only one who compares to such a name.

Fury does not get to decide if he is the champ or not, it is a binary call, not an existential debate, that is the strength of the title.

Unbeaten with 11 consecutive world title fights and a dominant 5 year reign, Wilder ends 2019 as number 1 heavyweight regardless of what happens with Ruiz/AJ

Dominant? His best win is a 50 year old Cuban.

It'd the worst reign in HW Boxing for a long, long time.

But better than any other current heavyweight. AJ’s resume is much better than Wilder but he was stopped this year and lost his belts. Fury’s taken the year off so who do you have as 2019’s number 1?
