If that was a dive, he deserves an Oscar

Maybe, but so far it's been the differentiation in his fights. He carries his power into the late rounds and has true one shot knock out power. He had just enough boxing skill to avoid being knocked out himself but it works for him. At least so far.

No. I'm not some huge Wilder fanboy. But credit where credit is due. The dude obviously has power.

I give Wilder a lot of credit and obviously he has immense power. One punch knockout artists always look spectacular for awhile - they have the newsreel highlights. But if Wilder keeps fighting eventually someone is going to get him; he has too many vulnerabilities.

Wilder is an arrogant dude (the way he acted after the knockdown) but I guess he has earned it.

I agree with this. Eventually someone will figure him out and capitalize on his flaws.

That punch completely short circuited Ortiz he was gone completely until about the 7-8 count range. And I was rooting heavy for Lou.

Why not just find another sport to watch. In boxing every decision is a robbery, every knock out is a dive, and every fighter is ducking everyone they havent fought yet.

It was a short right hand from a powerful man, that landed pretty much unabated.

Getting dropped bad by a punch to the forehead suggests a boxer doesn't take a punch well.

The only way you could be stupid enough to think that was a dive would to have reached that conclusion after suffering a similar severity of brain injury trauma to that inflicted on Ortiz last night.

Are people competing for the dumbest post-fight thread award, 2019? It's the same after each big fight on here...
