I am a wilder hater but I am also a big boxing fanatic and want to make a fair assessment of wilder.

Wilder is not a fraud like I thought first. He is a bad boxer, bad coordination, bad technique and terrible offense. He has only a straight right hand as his arsenal but he still gets the job done. So how is it possible for him to win his fights?

Wilder has some very special skills.
He has very fast hands, great snap on his punches and incredible power in his right hand. He has great stamina and a big heart. His accuracy is very good and he has quite good ring IQ. He knows his limitations and fights only to his strengths. He is a great one trick pony.
H2h he is also a very difficult fight.
He has a shot against almost everybody if they are not 100 focused against him

Yeah I also think Wilder's skills are a joke, but, the one thing he does, he does very well.

    Could not agree more.

I will have more respect for him if he ups the quality of his opponents over the next year.

Feb 22nd against Fury is a start.

Too bad Wilder wasted his prime years fighting C level oponnents. He might be much better then everybody thought, but his resume is horrible and he is already in mid 30s.
He could have fought Povetkin, AJ, but instead chose to fight cab drivers.

I believe Ortiz is more dangerous than both of those guys.

Yes, the way he ponderously KOed Travis Kauffman was devastating.

And who has Povetkin beat? AJ is too soft for Ortiz and would be slept by him.

His resume is bad, but he has still some time. If you are honest, then his only two worthwhile wins are ortiz.
He lost to fury, but if he beats fury in the rematch and then AJ or ruiz, then his resume will look good.

But imo usyk schools his ass, because usyk is the real deal and brings so much more to the table than every other guy at heavy

Having watched the fight today I thought up until that punch he was done for. His body language was showing defeat and he looked confused and didn’t know what to do next but with a punch like he has he will always get his chance and boy what a shot. I like wilder and I think that the hype job Joshua will not even share a ring with him and I also think he will end Tyson fury and his time but usyk will confuse him and beat him

Usyk has probably the best stamina I have seen for years. Great combination punching, incredible defense and offense and movement like a middleweight, he is solid 6.3 and an experienced as it get championship fighter and winner. He will clearly outbox and frustrate wilder and I don't think wilder will land one clean punch on him

Even with the best defense a guy like pbf still got hit by much more skilled fighters than at hw. Usyk's defense is no where as good as pbfs he got hit alot against bredis and bellew if he gets hit like that against wilder he will leave the ring on a stretcher.

Yeah sure but I asked if Usyk has the KO power ?
Its all true waht you say but as I said do we know "If" he has the KO power?
lets put it this way, because of the style that Fury fights( not disimilar to Uysk) we know he does not appear to have Ko power, we look at Whyte , we know he can bang, we look at parker, not as much as Whyte.....so where is Usyk in the mix of Punching power ?

The fact you ask shows how biased you are.

The implication that Povetkin has a bad résumé is a complete falsehood. It's better than Wilder's ffs! Let alone Ortiz.
