Povetkin is no better than Ortiz. AJ proves he was all smoke and mirrors. If Wilder rematches fury and then unifies vs Ruiz he'll have the best resume in the division

You still haven't answered the question. Who has Povetkin beat of note.

Ortiz has stamina for only 4 rounds. Yesterday he was very tired in the beggining of the fight. Povetkin would KO him late. AJ is very good, he has a much better resume then Wilder.

The guy who got punked by an Aussie doorman? LOL.

Let’s look at Boy Roid’s resume when he held a belt:

Beat Chugga-ev, who had never before or after done anything of note, to win it.

Defended against such stalwarts as Boswell, a 50-year-old Rahman, Wawrzyk and went life and death with a face-first cruiserweight, Huck.

    Yeah, what a resume.

Povetkin beat past it Byrd, Chambers, Chagaev, old Rahman, Huck, Perez, Takam.
    KOed Dupuah when Wilder couldn't.
KOed Wach as well, who has a certified iron chin.
    Ortiz only has Jennings.

It's true he never fought Kauffman. A blackspot on his resume for sure.

Joshua beat an older Povetkin but that's irrelevant anyway as whether or not he would of beaten Povetkin we know that he had to be dragged kicking and screaming via purse bid to make that fight. Funnily he had no issue making fights with his mandatory challengers when they were soft touches Stiverne and Breazeale.

Usyk is not a power puncher, he is an accumulation puncher. He punches in bunches and fires on you the whole fight and tires you out. I don't think he can take out wilder with one punch. But if wilder is tired and desperate, usyk can end him by a 5 punch combination.
But let's see. Watch usyk against gassiev. Gassiev is a very explosive puncher with great hand speed. Usyk brought his A Game and got caught just once in the whole fight. But wilder is way taller and has a long reach. I think usyk can stay out of harm's way for 12 rounds, but wilder could catch him. It's a fight I would love to see.

And joshua is a very tough fighter for wilder. Yes wilder can clip him but you don't want to go in a firefight with AJ. He is almost as tall as wilder, also a very big puncher and comes in combinations. Wilder would be very careful against him. And I tend to believe that joshua would get first to him with a combination and knock him out.

This ^^^ Wilder wasted prime years think he'd have been better fought of if he faced better boxers.

    Yup.

The one thing Wilder does well... he does very well. Which is find a way to land the flush right hand bomb right on target.

If someone watches the punch he kos him with... its not some wild haymaker or a lucky punch. He waits, waits, sees his opening and is able to execute it perfectly.

His overall boxing coordination is bad but hes placing a lot of his knockouts with skilled precision.

My thing is... as a Wilder fan, the bottom line is its going to take more than that to beat the best (well... maybe not in this era... but, still)
