Ruiz seems to have an excellent chin (although you don't want to test it too much against Wilder). And he is an elite counterpuncher for a heavyweight today, with real handspeed and timing. I think he'd have a great shot.

I don't think Joshua would beat Wilder. Joshua's chin appears suspect.
It would just be a matter of time before Wilder connects cleanly with a big right hand and that would be that.

Joshua vs Wilder is whoever lands first so there’s that. I think Ruiz is game enough. Hell I give Chisora a better chance of winning than Ortiz.

On paper a lot of fighters with proper boxing should beat Wilder but in real life it’s impossible to predict because of Wilders power.

Joshua, fury and usyk are favored.
Parker and whyte are 50/50 fights
All the others lose against wilder.
Ruiz is tailor made for wilder. Before he can come close, he will already eat at least two or three straight right hands and get koed

    fury possibly
Aj possibly, but i think Wilder turns out his lights out
I will reserve judgement on Ruiz until after AJ, but I think Wilder would get him late
Usyk definitely has the skills, but could he hold up when Deontay eventually finds his chin?

I don't think wilder is some all great boxing talent, but with his power/stamina he doesn't have to be.

one mistake and he potentially knocks any of these guys out

I think a switched on Fury is the only current guy i make favourite, but i wouldn't put much on it!

In fact only the other week i said Wilder could knock Tyson out!

2020 is shaping up to be a great year for boxing and hopefully by this time next year we will have an undisputed king at HW!

AJ, Whyte and Povetkin - Wilder has avoided the powerful punchers like the plague for reason. Plus all 3 are much more well rounded and conplete boxers than Wilder.

Ruiz and Parker hand speed and toughness will cause Wilder all sorts of problems.

Whilst the only fighters with decent footwork Wilder has fought have been two chinny fighters in Spzilka and Fury that caused him problems. Which is why i favour Hunter and Usyk against him.

Washington jab caused Wilder problems wihich is why i can see Hrgovic causing him problems.

Even a spent shadow of his former self in Tyson Fury can out box Wilder over 12 rounds.

Wilder is nortorius slow starter aginst with a bit of quality (Fury & Spzilka footwork, Washington jab & Ortiz counterpunching) so Wilder can be caught cold early if anyone with a bit of quality puts in on him.

Perhaps Ruiz and Uzyk. I think AJ gets tagged bad.

    Anthony Joshua
    Andy Ruiz
    Filipe Hrgovic (probably)
    Joseph Parker (probably)
    Dillian Whyte (probably)

A few years ago, Takam and Povetkin would have beaten Wilder, but they are now too old.

Fury and Ruiz have the best chances... Aj’s chin will not survive, Usyk too small and Whyte will be too easy to hit.
