I first heard of him in 1988!!!

At the time my mum was working for the NHS, inputting baby's immunisation records on the computer system and she came home and told me that there was a baby called Tyson Fury and what a ridiculous name it was.

Little did either of us know...

Pretty early in his career, and from what I saw then I never ever pictured him as a possible top10 heavyweight and certainly not to be the guy to dethrone Wlad. A large sideshow type, nothing more.
Of course he got very lucky a couple of times, but he turned out to be much more talented as I ever imagined.

But I don't think he will ever make any ATG heavyweight list, because he isn't the longlivity type.

The build up prior to him making his debut on the Froch v Pascal card.

Not many people have heard of a future World Heavyweight Champion just weeks after he was born and I thought it was worth mentioning.

If you think that's weird then I won't be losing any sleep over it.

I first heard of Tyson in the prime 80s then I realized Tyson was a Fury with Berbick, 1986 :aplastao:

When he uppercutted himself in the face vs McDermott...... Hardest he had ever been punched prior to Wilder nearly icing him.

nice story bro, unfortunately nobody used pc in the late 80 unless we are talking about military, farmacy or laboratory's. You re like a 4 year old kid.

Can't remember the year off hand but I saw him box as an amateur quite a few times.

Perhaps the single most stupid post I have ever read on this website....

Actually there were computers in the late 80's.
Maybe you just thought they were typewriters and televisions placed in close proximity to each other.

If you're actually capable of stopping and thinking about it for more than a split second, you might want to ask yourself how companies like Microsoft, Apple and Amstrad managed to stay afloat if computers were not commonly used until the 90's.

And the correct spellings are 'pharmacy', 'laboratories' and 'you're'.

Just goes to show your level of ignorance, doesn't it?

    Let's face it, you're a moron.

What round did he uppercut himself? I can't find a clip of it on it's own on YouTube and would like to see it!
