That's it. Tyson would blow thru him for mine. Wilder would have to land very early or perish.

The 22 year old Tyson was better than the 24-26 yr old. Tyson

It took me awhile but I figured that was the case.

You never can tell in these parts.

    Ali
    Maybe Frazier
    Prime Foreman
    I'd say prime Holmes.
Lennox Lewis but I give the older Lewis more chance against young Tyson.. If you know what I mean.
Maybe, possibly, Riddick Bowe from Holyfield 1, but I won't put money on it.

Correct me old son. Tyson gets in to Wilders ribs early, puts him under pressure, gets him panic throwing then smashes him down. I see Tyson doing it in 5 rounds tbh.

I think Tyson's lack of height would work partly in his favour actually. He would get under those rights mostly, and while Wilder also can do damage with his uppercut it isn't as dangerous. Mike might wobble a bit from a right on the top of his head, but I think he'll get in at his own range sooner or later and blast Wilder's ribs and then his chin.

How I see it, as I said I really think Tyson gets him in under 5 rounds. Wilders lucky he wasn't around in 1988!

Yep. On the other hand I think he'd be absolute poison for a stand-up fighter like Bowe, and possibly even Lewis and Wlad. Styles make fights.

Bowe is a great pick. At his best he had the height, reach, solid enough chin, power and inside game to replicate a Tokyo Douglas. His brawling would get him in trouble, though.

Tyson just turned 20 when he won his first 25 fights and I would hardly call the 24 or 26 year old Tyson a young and hungry Tyson with the killer eyes since he already won and lost the heavyweight title by then and was already in prison serving a three year sentence by the time he was 25.

most people would say that Tyson was at his best between the time he beat Berbick at 20 up to when he beat Spinks at 22 to become the undisputed master of the universe. There’s not many that I would pick with any real confidence to beat that Tyson between that period of time. Ali and Holmes at their best would be first names on the lists and others? maybe Bowe and Vitali in h2h matches would be the best of the rest.
