Because 90% of people scored the fight for Fury. How can Wilder be ahead of Fury when he basically lost to him recently? Makes no sense.

It was a draw, whether we like it or not. Also, Fury may as well have been inactive with his 2 fights since. Since the draw, Wilder has beaten 2 top 10 guys. Not just beaten them, knocked both out. Brezeale is still in orbit somewhere.

Fury himself didn’t score the fight to himself! If he did and he thought he had been robbed and there was a mandatory shot on the table then he would’ve grabbed it with both hands and dived straight back in. No network, no manager can dictate to Tyson Fury, He does what he wants. Fury was and is petrified to get back in with Wilder. I think he was just thankful he came through round 12 alive.

Wlad, Povetkin, Parker, Whyte are all better fighters than Ortiz. Wilder hasnt beaten else of note.

Fury Beat wlad over 4 years and beat Chisora over 5 years ago. Retired, had his license stripped. Came back and hasnt beaten a top 40 fighter in 4 years.

Whyte comes the closest to AJ resume for quality but AJ holds a win over him.

Still in my opinion Ruiz should be number 1 as he beat the guy who considered the number HW by nearly everyone and had the most belts and by far the best resume.

Ring magazine can look beyond a controversial draw, thankfully.

AJ beat Whyte when Whyte was a crude British level heavyweight. It's not an impressive win. It's a completely different version of Whyte to what we see now. That leaves Wlad, Povetkin, Parker and a loss to Ruiz. Fury also has Wlad, he was a controversial draw v Wilder which he should have won and he has a prime Derek Chisora. AJ's a little stronger but there's clearly not much in it mate.

Beating Whyte is impressive win, look that win streak and resume of Whyte since who has since shown his abillity.

I'd argue Chisora is a much better fighter now than when he fought Fury. Cealry looks physically fitter and in much better shape. Whilst also having 2 career best wins in Takam and Spzilka. You also have to consider the McDermott win would to be controversial if you reffering to Wilder draw as controversial.

Stil Officially Fury has a win over
    - A win ATG in Wlad
    - 2 x wins over a good Euro level fighter in Chisora.

    AJ
    - A win over ATG in Wlad
    - a win over a undefeated WC in Parker who currenrlty hold the win of the current Champ.
    - a win over former WC with a in depth resume in Povetkin.
    - Win over Whyte, who went onto have the most impressive win streak in the divison in terms of quality of opponents.

Both Fury and AJ have an win over an ATG the difference being is AJ has beaten the fighters the level of Povetkin, Parker and Whyte. Chisora although a good fighter, is not on their level.

People don't change that much Mitch. Chisora was a punch bag and Gashi, Szpilka and Price wins do not change that. It is only recent perception that changes the public view.

Whyte was British level at the time. A very crude British level fighter at that. It's really not that impressive a win. Whyte is the most improved fighter in the division. It's a win that's aged well but it's not a 'legacy' win.

Fury ended Chisora's longest winning streak twice. The second time Chisora was 31 and eight years a pro. That was his prime.

I think Fury's win over Wlad and draw over Wilder are better than any of AJ's wins. Outside of that AJ has a little bit more.

The argument here is not whose resume is better. What I'm trying to say is that there's really not that much in it. AJ's "stacked resume" is a complete myth. There's really not a lot between the resume's of Fury, Wilder and AJ. AJ probably has the edge but he also has a loss.

Beating Parker is more impressive win than beatingg Wilder let alone drawing with Wilder in my opinion. Parkers win over Ruiz is more impressive than Wilders win over Ortiz. Plus you could say Povetkin at the time AJ fought hm had the most in depth resume after AJ.

That's just your opinion. I disagree. I think Wilder ices every man in the division including Parker apart from possibly Fury so a controversial draw with Wilder IMO is a serious result. Lasting 12 rounds with Wilder is a serious achievement. 90% of fan forum polls had Fury winning the fight.

I had Hughie Fury beating Parker by two points and Parker has since lost to Whyte. He only got the cards v Ruiz because it was in New Zealand. He's not great at all is he?

I had Parker beating Hughie comfortably in what was probably the most boring fight I ve ever see. That said beating Ruiz ( i had Parker winning 7 rounds to 5) is more impressive that beating Ortiz, beating Takam ( i had Parker winning 8 round to 4) is up there there with of any of the other Wilder wins.
