Could Hamed have made this a close fight?

Hamed once stated that Floyd was the best ever, Floyd would have beaten Hamed easily at super feather but how many rounds could Hamed have won?

I stand by my post in the last thread you made on this very subject Mark.

I look forward to you posting a rubber match of this topic in the near future though.

I'm not exactly a Hamed fan, but his speed and aggression would have posed quite a few problems for Floyd. Mind you, I'm not a Floyd fan, either, so I'll add that there was a reason that Floyd never fought Khan, and its not because Khan was that good, its because he was that fast. When you are trying a finesse style like PBF, the last thing you want is some guy punching faster than you can properly react to him.

    No. Just no.

And Floyd badly wanted to fight Hamed.

The Princess is the one who didnt want the fight.

Floyd would have stopped Haned. Too big, too strong, too fast, too skilled, too smart... just a MUCH MUCH highter caliber fighter on top of being the much bigger fighter.

You Brits are highly delusional about your fighters.

It was viewed as a mismatch at the time and for good reason.

Hamed didnt want the fight. Floyd did. Floyd knew it was easssyyyyy money.

I agree but P4P as a fellow Brit Calzaghe was far better than Hamed, but you`re right Brit fans really over hype their world champs.

Hamed had more power to trouble Floyd though.
