    This is SRL fight to lose as Walker will be the strongest he has faced. . He would have to fight smart and use his superior lateral movement and hand speed on the outside, pick his spots and land his combinations and 7 punch flurries, then back out and do it again. His hand speed is the key in this fight, imo. If Walker can draw him into a brawl and start hooking him to the body, well even the great SRL will go down. I like Walker to stop him in the 15th

    I see Ray Leonard using those feet of his to take a UD. People imo underrate Leonard's skill, but overrate his greatness, Leonard would be the best boxer Walker faced and by far the quickest (barring Greb with his lack of footage), I see Leonard picking him off at range with the jab and using lateral movement (or running away) to keep safe. I can see Leonard picking his shots and flurrying at opportune times to make sure he wins the rounds.
    Leonard would do well to avoid clinching, he'd be mauled around inside and forced back at will, and he didn't want to be against the Ropes.

    Close fight, but Leonard's game plan beats Walker's style imo.

    I honestly don't know ... Walker pretty much fought on even terms with two lightning fast high volume all time greats in Greb and Flowers .. he had the chin and he had power .. and Leonard is Leonard .. I favor Ray but I have not seen enough of a prime Walker to really make a call ..

    IT could kind of be like when Floyd beat Canelo .. maybe if Ray shows the discipline .. if he went to war another thing ..

    My first thought was Ray by decision ,,because he ain't stopping Mickey Walker. But ,Leonard didn't move that much at 147 and really engaged in his fights, Duran and Hearns. I agree ,if Ray gets in a fight with Walker he could get iced.

    Stylistically for me this suits SRL. Walker wasn't as refined in his pressure and brutality as Duran for mine and was possibly greater at higher weights. He'd have his moments, landing the odd big punch but i don't think he'd land enough of them to turn the fight his way in a hurry and Leonard would win a decision in a sometimes scrappy and rough encounter punctuated by Leonard's speed of both hand and foot at various intervals.

    Walker was a strong body puncher and I think this is a big factor Walker by UD 15 or late stoppage

    I tend to think Ray Leonard is overrated in welterweight all-time rankings but Walker did lose the title to Pete Latzo and maybe Latzo were no better than Ray Leonard.
