Could an angry Joseph "The New Zealand Mike Tyson" Parker be Wilder's kryptonite?

Parker is decent, I rate him as a boxer. But against Wilder, he has to turn it up and get dirty, and haven't seen him do that against the elites just yet. Wilder KO easily

    Parker has mongrel.

I think people are underrating that part of him.

Being a little passive against two bigger guys, with big punches..one where he was possibly concussed and nearly came back to win..doesnt mean you should be questioning if he is to nice for combat sport.

He is really good. He just may be just a little short of being good enough.
No shame in that.. look who he has been in with.

Polynesians have mad white line fever at league and union. They don't care how much bigger they are, they are putting the shoulder in, they ain't shy about throwing punches and a cheeky stomp.
But the second you get off that field..you are like family. Beautiful culture.

Interesting that your account name is I'm guessing mocking Fury's punching power, but you consider Parker to have good power. What makes anyone think Parker hits harder than Fury. His KO's dried up soon as he started fighting live opponents.

I think this would be an entertaining fight, but nothing tells me Parker could take Wilder's shot better than anyone else. If his chin was that good, he would have been far more aggressive against Joshua. I'm not convinced he'd be able to hurt Wilder more than Fury either. And he has a massive reach disadvantage meaning Wilder might just have a field day raking in bombs from the outside, where Parker likes to fight!

Parker hurt AJ, Parker put Whyte down and narrowly missed out on stopping him, Parker gained Ruiz respect from his power. Not to mention that he carries speed, power and combinations through to the later rounds.

No one is saying that he punches as hard as the likes of Wilder/AJ but he has things in his arsenal that those fighters don't, and those tools give him a real shot of beating a limited fighter like Wilder.

Make no mistake, he will not fight a fight like he did against AJ again. If he does, he's done.
The opening in the Whyte fight Parker looked great until the clash of heads... And then once he came back to life later in the fight he had Whyte out on his feet...

Wilder better footwork than Parker? Are you clinically blind? You aint fooling anyone with childish observation.

Parker hits harder than Fury get over it. Fury is weak AF.

Whyte knocked Chisora out cold with his left hook, guy with one of the best chins in the HW division. He also has a KO of the year against Browne and knocked down Parker who has never been knocked down in his whole life.
Wilder hasn’t fought an iron chinned fighter yet in his career, he purposefully stayed away from durable opponents as he is well aware that they could be his downfall

Parker’s footwork is terrible. Parker’s footwork is extremely inefficient and he’s often out of position. His footwork basically lost him the fight against Joshua and is also why he often fails to get leverage behind a lot of his shots. It footwork also worked against in the Whyte fight as well.

Every time Joshua left himself wide open Parker’s mediocre footwork always gave away what he was going to do. Parker does way too much walking around ring and never shifts his weight. I’ve seen Kevin Barry work when he was in Hollywood many years ago and know he’s a good trainer, so I can only guess that he’s become lazy, since Parker’s footwork and ring efficiency are far from what they should be.

Parker while he’s still young needs to get a trainer that is actually motivated to help him improve, since without any changes or improvements I don’t see him beating any of the other top fighters.

Also, although Wilder’s footwork is messy it isn’t as inefficient as Parker’s and Wilder’s footwork is able to get him into position to land when he needs to.

We are seeing completely different things then because Wilder has hilarious foot work... it's noticeably very poor. Whereas parker is above average for a HW today. He moved in and out very well against Whyte to avoid and soften many of whats jabs and punches. Like Rivas did.

Another fantasy matchup loss for Wilder. Seems that he can only win in real fights.

I was not impressed with Parker at all in the Joshua fight. I don't think it was just the referee who was stopping them engaging close up, Parker didn't want any of it. He didn't want to eat a big uppercut like Wlad did. I've never seen a fighter give up their title so meekly. Look at how Holyfield fought tooth and nail to hang on to his titles in his first fight with Bowe

I think it's bad matchup both stylistically and mentally for Parker. Parker's cautious approach would play into Deontay's hands, allowing him to control the centre of the ring while taking his time to set-up a long-range bomb that would spell the end of Joseph's title aspirations.

Parker beat Ruiz, who's better and more accomplished than grandpa Ortiz.
