What's the deal with Manuel Charr and Trevor Bryan? Seems like they have disappeared completely, did they retire? Not a fan of either, it just seems strange that they were both at the most exciting stage of their careers and then they just let time go by and seemingly faded away. Also, how did that whole fiasco with Fres Oquendo turn out? Is Fres still mandatory for the shot, or was he paid to go away? There's no way he could possibly be licensed to fight either of the above guys given his present age and lack of activity....
No, Charr just waits Fres Oquendo fight to materialize. I think Daniel Dubois will be retired for two decades when this mega fight finally happens
Charr has been out for 2 years like he at least should despite the (nonsense) technicality surrounding his b-sample. Maybe the German board doesn't licence him?
Would be great to see that mess cleaned up by an upcoming boxer. Dychko is number 14 ... best case scenario would be someone like that runs thru them all in succession. Dubois is fighting WBA #12 Fujimoto, so if he wins that ... he may as well go after Charr, Oquendo for the sake of it and Bryan as well in the space of 6 months.
Has Bryan retired or injured? No fights this year and was at one point a potential fury post wilder opponent bit of a weird one
Charr seems like he's retired. Shame as he was finally hotting up and could have been in the mix at the lower end of the top ten/fifteen. Kabayel appears to be really inactive, which sucks because he's potentially a really good HW addition. He beat Chisora and would beat a lot of other guys in the division with his skillset.
