Watched gloves are off and he is still doesn't have that fire in his belly it looks like to take Ruiz head off which I think he needs. He is still on about 'Andy being a nice guy' this wee idiot puts on good act but Joshua needs to go out there and knock him out, he wont outbox Ruiz.

I think that Joshua needs to move around and try to outbox ruiz, he was doing it fairly well in tge first fight until he landed that combo then looked for the close. Even after that on unsteady legs he still had some success. Ruiz doesnt have quick feet, only quick hands. If joshua can be patient he might ve able to chip away at ruiz and stop him late. Its not impossible.
No matter what he done or said someone would’ve criticised it! If he would have went on there and said Andy is a **** I’m gona knock him out etc then people would accuse him of overlooking his opponent, over confidence and arrogance. There’s just absolutely zero to read in to any of this. From what I’ve seen he looks calculated and focussed. He knows he’s got a massive task on his hands. Whether he overcomes that or not we will see next week.
Yes! We know nothing until fight night. I'm back and forth with this. After everything AJ has worked for, there's no question he's coming in 110%, giving every last inch he has. That's a dangerous prospect for Ruiz. However, AJ's punch resistence is questionable and when Ruiz lands a big bomb, anything can happen. It's such a great fight. I've not looked forward to a fight this much since Fury/Wilder.
The worry for Joshua is that he's fighting someone who beat him from pillar to post last time out. Fighters do avenge stoppage losses, but more often than not if you get stopped in the first fight the same thing is happening in the return. His mindset is important, but to win this fight he will need to resolve the stylistic and technical issues Ruiz presented first time round.
Joshua is a calculated and cognitive character. Only Whyte and Miller have really got under his skin. He’s trained hard, he’s made changes and if he loses again... then Ruiz just has his number. You don’t beat the fighters Joshua has, in the few fights he’s had (Am & Pro) and be still learning on the job without a **** load of ability
It's heavyweight, anyone can lose a fight. One punch can change everything. So when you say "more often then not..." are you talking about all weight classes? Or what?
There's not much the bodybuilder can say to Ruiz at the moment though. He got beat down by that ferocious blob. I was surprised fatso didn't have a plate of pizza between him and Joshua, in the Gloves were off interview. Just imagine Ruiz gobbling it up, and laughing in Anthony's face when he said that. lol

Focusing on heavyweight champions, Fitzsimmons, Walcott, Patterson (Liston), Johansson, Frazier and Liston all lost their titles by stoppage, and were stopped in the return. Patterson (against Ingo) and Lewis x2 are the exceptions. Weaver lost by stoppage to Dokes and drew the return. Walcott knocked out Charles to win the title and won on points in their next fight. I may be missing one or two but you get the gist. Yes, any result is possible. Statistically, and logically, the most likely outcome of a rematch of Fighter A stopping Fighter B, is that Fighter A stops Fighter B again.

I thought it was a strange question from Johnny Nelson when he asked Ruiz if he’s gonna end Joshua’s career. I wondered if that question was intended to get a reaction out of Joshua, not there and then, but provide a reminder of the task ahead of him and to not forget that behind the smiles Ruiz is a very hungry fighter. I thought Joshua looked visibly surprised when Ruiz smiled and said yes. If the shoe was on the other foot, I’m sure Joshua would have said something sportsmanlike like “I’m sure he’ll come again after I beat him”. Seeing Ruiz just smile and reply ‘yes’ looked like it visibly affected Joshua. Perhaps I’m looking too deep into it, and ultimately it doesn’t matter, but I do think Joshua needs that focussed, nasty edge to him for this fight cos that’s what it is...a fight. None of this philosophical, humble s***e, this isn’t athletics or football...he needs to get his head ready for a war. It’s him or me.
But that was the problem in the first place, Joshua trying to knock him out early,..you really think Joshua can't outbox Ruiz? He just needs to fight smarter which I'm sure he will do.. ONLY 9 DAYS TO GO BOYS!!!!!!!
