Well Fury seems to think the fight is made and Wilder has to fight him next, but I agree as mooted by others Wilders team may well fancy Ruiz if he can beat AJ again! If AJ wins it will deffo be Fury! Hope Wilder Fury 2 happens before any unification tbh, the build up will be fun!! Wilder should pull Fury up on his recent comments about being two characters and having an alter ego! In the build up to the first fight he slated Wilder for saying exactly that the same sort of thing!! Lol sorry just something that's been bugging me from his recent interviews! I'd be backing Fury to win tho and think he has a real good chance but Wilder can hurt him or possibly finish him if he gets caught flush! Intreaguing fight let's hope they get it on early next year!!

I don’t see why Wilder wouldn’t want Ruiz if he beats Joshua. Chance to unify against an easier opponent or take on a guy who holds nothing who isn’t a draw. It’s a total no brainier.

Yeah I said if Ruiz wins Wilder may well go for that fight instead but if AJ wins hes definitely fighting Fury next!

I wouldn’t be so sure. Joshua and his team are going to be more willing to negotiate and I’m sure Wilder would want the unification too.

No matter what the result is it’s going to cause a situation in the Wilder Fury alleged rematch. This is far from set in stone or we would have had the announcements as soon as Wilder beat Ortiz.

They have to go for Pulev next, without a doubt. If Joshua wins we’ll have all the splits talk once again on here, which we’ve not had in yonks to be fair. I don’t want to hear that Joshua deserves a 70/30 or 60/40 or whatever against Wilder/Fury. 50/50, decide who’s the number one heavyweight.

The top 8 Heavyweights in the world should forget wonga and sign up to a WBSS Heavyweight Tournament for the Ali Trophy.

They are all multi millionaires so money should be an irrelevance but they would be well paid anyway.

That is the only way to sort all this out and any Tony Bellew types not taking part are simply shytehouses or dossers.

Then you’re being ridiculous. Joshua brings the vast majority to the fight, he generates way more money, he’ll ask for more money.

Wilder or Fury demanding 50/50 is simply an absolute duck as they know A, they don’t deserve it and B, Joshua won’t accept it.

Haha. I knew you’d rise to that post ;)

Seriously though, there has to come a time when legacy comes before wedge. He’s got so much money he could never spend it all, in fact, all 3 of them (Joshua, Wilder and Fury) have. Let’s see who’s number 1. Has for splits, 50/50. Joshua doesn’t earn the same money fighting Pulev than he would fighting Wilder or Fury.

But once again, you can apply that to anyone involved. If legacy rather than money matters to Wilder why won’t he accept the smaller percentage?

We’ve been over this a million times and I agree it’s boring, but the reality is it’s very, very rare to get a fight of this magnitude agreed on a 50/50 split, because everyone involved knows their value. If Pacquiao can take the smaller wedge to make the biggest fight of all time then anyone can.

If AJ wants to be regarded at the no.1 heavyweight in the world he'll have to accept 50/50. Wilder or Fury will have a W or two over the other and will be ring magazine champion.

FWIW, I think AJ will accept 50/50 just to get the fight made.

Joshua sells out Wembley. Fury literally cannot give tickets away for his fight. You know this.

So why should he accept fifty fifty?

Can’t believe I’m being drawn in to this tedious argument once again.

    Here are facts.

Joshua receiving nearly £100mil (rumoured) for his next fight. wilder got $12mil, Fury (anyone’s guess).
It’s not even up for dispute who brings the most money and tickets to the table. If it were your money and you were in the same position then would you **** give a large chunk away.

However from a fans perspective who just wants to see the fights (as it’s not my money). I think a fair way to do it is 60/40. Winner 60, loser 40. Then a rematch clause stipulating the same.

The point is nobody likes getting stiffed and that's why Wilder and Fury will shut out Joshua and Hearnz. They don't need him now he has an L (stock down) and will plan a trilogy fight instead. If Joshua has any ambition to get the fight done he better leave Hearnz when his contract is up. Ring magazine is up for grabs now and the winner of #WilderFury2 will be undisputed in the division.
