I think Hammer and Washington would beat shot Szpilka, if that's what you're asking.

Szpilka clearly has a style he does poorly against, come forward pressure fighters. And even as rudimentary a come forward pressure fighter as Wach is, he still came within a hair of stopping Szpilka in the 10th. Had it been a 12 rounder, Wach would have got the KO. Wach is no better and no worse than Washington, Price or Hammer, and it certainly isn't a sign of him being shot because he was beaten by Miller and Bakole. Because in all likelihood, they would be as well, hell Washington already was.

Do I think he's a great opponent? No, but he certainly is far from the worst.

Clearly? Szpilka is clearly shot and shouldn't be boxing anymore. He still beat Wach, whose PED fueled heyday came and went.

Yeah, that's great, and styles still make fights.

It's a nice excuse for not seeing four rounds against Kownacki and Chisora, rulers of the boxing universe.

No, it's not an excuse, Szpilka got KO'd by both of them because they're relentless pressure fighters. Wach IS NOT, now let me repeat, IS NOT a relentless pressure fighter. Not sure what the hell you're even arguing with me for. What's your point? Wach has never been a world class boxer or a knockout artist, but he is a durable plodder that can score wins here and there over Teper and Hammer level guys and superior boxers can use him to get rounds in with.

He is what he is, no better and no worse than he was before.

After Whyte's run of names, I'm happy for Whyte taking a keep busy fight..

Whyte is a HUGE threat to any HW in this era.

If he wasn't a threat Wilder would of faced him by now.

Well said, 9 million pounds aint enough to get Wilder to fight a bum like Whyte.

Not an easy payday... he has to go online and buy flight tickets to another country.. aint nobody got time for dat

Wilder: “I accept if you include in the contract that if I win, I get AJ next.”

Eddie: “Um, wait, I didn’t count on that ... that’s not how it works.”

Wilder: “I got other fish to fry. Later.”

Hard to stay relevant fighting Wach after his juice problems . I think he's moving in the direction of gatekeeper, not quickly mind you, but he's definitively slouching in that direction. He needs a fight to get him back on the radar, Kownacki, Dubois , etc. Please, please, nobody mention Price again.

Bums who Whyte ducked even when offered an eliminator to face Wilder. He’d rather whine on Twitter.

I know: idiots saying Wilder turned down Whyte offer when he accepted it but Eddie/AJ were too scared to accept his reasonable and simple condition.

    https://www.*******.com/hearn-shakes-head-joshua-guarantee-wilder-facing-whyte--121929

You can read Eddie’s direct quote yourself.

Wilder accepted with one simple condition. Eddie walked away to protect AJ.

You Whyte apologists need to worry about his avoidance of a mandatory vs. Ortiz, his B sample vs. Rivas and the dodgy glove-switch in that fight.

Or better yet, ask why, if Eddie was so all-fired-up to get Whyte a title shot, he didn’t just promote a rematch with AJ since he promotes both fighters. It was in his power to give Dilly Dilly a title shot but he refuse.
