This isn’t the best example, but I see what you’re saying. I think we’re stuck because the sanctioning bodies and their ridiculous ratings allow you to a top 10 fighter viable for a title shot while not even being top 50 h2h.
You do realize that a large part of the problem is the toxic public that lables every fighter glass chined or trash if they lose once to a guy that is not at least a solid world champ.
Money. Why take a fight now for, example, $150000 when, in the future the fight will be worth $250000. Especially when that "and 0" is so important. By the way, any time you say that one fighter is "all wrong ", or a "stylistic nightmare " for another fighter, explain, in detail, why. Same thing with "styles make fights". Show what you know.

well coming up we’ve got Efe Ajagba fighting Kiladze(Who’s not terrible but does nothing g for Ajagba’s standing) on the same card as former world champion Charles Martin...who appears to be facing off against a 42 year old bus driver. That’s not an exaggeration or insult, he’s actually a bus driver.
He proudly calls himself the "Fighting Bus Driver" and Martin will be more than happy to knock him out which sure beats the brain damage Martin got in the Slug-Fest War he had with Kownacki!! Martin should fight De Mori next! lol
