How would Ryder have done against Lemieux and Eubank Jr?

What is Larry Merchants most famous picture of himself??

 

Think he would of at least gave Eubank Jnr quite a few hard hooks up close. Wouldn't be able to match Eubanks intensity but he would time his counters up close.

This would be the fight for me Eubank would really get chin checked because he's so wild.

Hard to pick a winner though, I dont rate Eubank particularly that high but Ryder has much better fundamentals, lots of head movement, extremely strong at the weight and has decent pop in his shots.

Eubank normally likes to be the stronger fighter, the mauler. He has better work rate (in spates) but he also is a lot more wild.

Two great fights. Could probably walk Jr down. Lemieux would've banged him out years ago but not now.

 

At super middleweight I think he can beat both. Him vs Eubank would be a phone box fight. I think Ryder is fundamentally a better fighter but styles make fights. Eubank loves the uppercut and I think Ryder would be in range for most of the fight.

 

Lemieux’s power is somewhat overstated. He’s never knocked anyone decent out. Look at his record and put Ryder in with all the people he’s KO’d and I’d expect Ryder to KO them too. Ryder beats Lemieux on points for me. As for Eubank it would be an amazing fight but I’d favour Eubank again on points, maybe a SD.

 

Ryder decisions Lemieux. Lemi looks to be on the slide and is too in love with his power. Ryder would consistently pick him off and edge a decision.

Ryder knocks Eubank Jr out late. Or wins a comfortable decision. Eubank doesnt have the ring IQ to beat Ryder and is too open at mid and close range.

To an extent yeah but every time he’s stepped up he’s lost. He will get stopped again by Munguia who’s moving up in weight. Any other “stand outs” from the Lemieux KO list?

Ryder V Eubank would be such a great watch. Can't see how they don't gel in the ring.

Doubt we will see it though.

 

My boy Gorilla Ryder would beat them both. Not easily but would out work them for late stoppage or UD.

The only SMWs i think Ryder would struggle with a bit are Benavidez and possibly Plant.

 

It was supposed to happen before Ryder was made mandatory for Smith but think they couldn’t agree on money or something.

 

Ryder v Eubank would be a fight I'd like to see but unfortunately won't happen with him over at PBC. I think Ryder takes a SD.
