After Wallin gave Fury that horrible cut and outboxed him in round 12, Fury quit boxing and started WWE.

Fury was almost knocked out and was terribly tired, which proves he doesn't have the champion spirit. He doesn't have any belts actually.

Poor guy could hold the belts for only 1 year, after defeating a 40 years old champion, who was 14 years older than him.

Then he fought the likes of Seferi, Pianeta, Schwarz. Got knocked down by Wilder.

After that he took on Wallin, because he thought Wallin was a bum like Seferi, Schwarz, etc.

Another Tyson Fury retirement? How many retirements in total would that be if you're right?!

Nah, he schooled and beat Wilder.

Got a bad cut and survived the scare against Wallin.

Wallin is a prime contender for the "cherrypicks gone wrong" thread.

Fury shoudlnt even have had this fight, Wilder should have been next at this point. The fact that rematch hasnt happened and still may not speaks volummes. I admired what Fury did in the first fight but until he fights Wilder again anything he says is hot air, rubbish, he can call them all bums and dossers, it means nothing.

If he had lost, it would be a shoe in, sure.

Still, I thoroughly enjoyed that fight. I thought both men showed commendable fighting spirit, and I'll be watching Otto W closely in his next fight too! (pencilled in for Feb 2020 against a tba. I just saw he's being trained by Joey Gamache too).

He retired into the WWE Circus because a Traveling Circus Sideshow is perfect for him!! Plus he won't really get hit and bloodied into a pizza sauce face like he did against Wallin!!

Fury was tired? He was battering Wallin throughout most of the second half of the fight. Did you even watch it or just catch the highlights? Wallin was gassing hard and had nothing on his punches until the Hail Mary left in the 12th.

And to say he was “almost knocked out” is basically describing every boxing match that ever happened.

You need to stop playing the name game and realize that when two men get inside the ring for twelve rounds anything can happen.

This thread won't age well. I'd say it has a shelf life of 3 months.

The Furys knew who Wallin was and would be tough. If you know your HW boxing you knew it would be a tough fight bc Furys needing to be in control of tempo to do what he does best which Wallin wasn't going to just give him .

People can call it a cherry pick but Wallin would be a guy Wilder stays away ( southpaw, youth, speed ,size , skills ,high punch counts and very good body work ) from at least after that one knowing it was Wallins only 20th fight and how southpaws should have a clear blueprint on Wilder after Szpilka, and two Ortiz fights alone with Fury to an extent.

If Wallin is a cherry pick, thats one tough cherry, maybe a cherry bomb ?

Yeah he schooled Wilder by landing 1 more punch per round than he did.
