Nelson “I’m gonna ask you boys both the same question - are you going to end his career. Andy you first.” Ruiz “Yes.” AJ “it’s funny you know... you know like, a racehorse? It’s like this.. people say .. energy in energy out? .. this is real. We are soldiers you know? People say how we learn on the job. You know like a bricklayer? Ok let’s say you have a house to build. Your dream home.. you feel me? You know the task in front of you right? Of course you do. My team, my crew, my soldiers, we know what we have to do. I’m a born fighter man.”
I can’t listen to him. Always in boring and bland interviews. Don’t feel like we’re really getting to know him. I’d love it is he turned heel Hollywood hogan style!
The more money AJ makes, the more profound his answers must be. Ain’t nobody in his camp going to tell him otherwise. If he beats Ruiz, all us mere mortals must bow. I for one can’t wait for the next nugget of wisdom. AJ is wise like a Buddha.
I've always found him a hard listen. Answers questions that aren't asked and struggles to get his point across. It's uneducated philosophy really.
Reminds me of Groves v Eubank press when they were asked how the other one would react to a loss. Eubank went on a long rant about something and Groves was just like "He'll blame his dad and go back down to middleweight".
But who has ruiz beat? Tell me one fighter in the current division who has any 2 wins of any note? Who isnt a pudding by your standards? Who should AJ have beaten in this current division to show his worth? Wilder? I assume hes a contender for king pudding with his ultimate cherry picked cv? Fury? Hes a pudding too then with a win over Klitschko and a draw against king pudding who had him down twice?
Sums up the Heavweight Pudding Division well mate - it is absolutely rotten and Tony Dosh PPV getting stopped by a small potato on legs proves how bad it really is.
