The business end of my list would currently look something like this: 1. Shavers 2. Foreman 3. Wilder 4. Baer 5. Tyson 6. Liston
10 hardest hitters imo are Foreman Liston Louis Tyson Lewis Marciano Frazier Baer Klitchkos Honorable Mention to Tua and Shavers but they were never lineal which takes them down a notch in my book.
MY TOP PUNCHERS HI I'M NEW 1. PRIME MIKE TYSON 2. ALI 3. WILDER HE'S HYPE 4. KLITSCHKO 5. MAYWEATHER Real talk tho, all the evidence points to Shavers
There is no one hardest punching in heavyweight history. There are various guys who were elite punchers. The casuals will say but Ali said Shavers punched him the hardest. Give me which round Foreman was landing his best power punches to Ali's head. Guys like Mac Foster were big punchers but weren't very skilled. Ron Lyle was a hard puncher but only if you stood right in front of him. Of course we had guys like Ike Ibeabuchi, David Tua, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno ect.
Pure power Wilder hits very hard like a Hw Hearns. This makes up for some of his weakness..Ruddock and Bruno also hit very hard flawed in other areas but power was not one of them.
I think it is a little bit premature to nominate him, though I can follow people's thinking. Of course if they are right, then it would mean that the hardest hitter in the history of the division, was a 212lb fighter! This would be very bad for the bigger is better argument!
