Fake numbers, but I think real numbers are poor too. Ortiz isn't a star in USA, he is old and Wilder already KO'ed him before. Matching LSC against like #125 BoxRec ranked bum in undercard didn't help either

It's been a week now. Usually we get first indications 4-5 days after fight night.

That's not really the point here. If the numbers are bad, it would mean they're losing money on these events.

Lets be real. It was one of the crappiest most boring cards of the year, even by PBC's matchmaking standards. When has Wilder constantly fighting substandard competition ever been a draw?

Where are those guys who educated us about how money-smart Wilder was taking a low guarantee of $3 million because he was allegedly set to make 5 times that from the PPV income. Oh right....

Not a chance these figures are accurate, not even close. There's simply no way he sold that many.

We keep hearing how the Fury rematch will generate millions eventhough Wilder himself says Fury is not known in the US and 1st fight did 325k

its also funny how wilder/fury fans argue that it generated more money becuase tickets cost more... and that shouldnt worry about how many tickets sold... *rolls eyes*

We gonna ignore that Fury had 2 warm-up fights before the Wilder fight? Stop making excuses for your guy.

Ortiz is as good as all but Joshua, Usyk and Fury on your list..

First of all Ortiz is not on Dillians level.

Secondly, good point about Fury having two warm up fights, everyone seems to forget that including myself.

I broadly agree, but when a promoter has taken the ****, either by the card or by the price, then I don't feel guilty in experiencing a moment of schadenfreude if it royally bombs...
