I can accept some 'incompetence' and errors made early in one's career as these should be ironed out through experience and personal development. In the case of Spud, we have seen very poor cards over an entire career with no sign of any improvement - the only personal development over the past 30 years is that he has turned into a fat cant producing cards so bad that even someone without any knowledge of boxthing could not score a fight any worse. Month after month, year after year, the cards are so bad and STILL so bad that even the terms 'Gross Incompetence' cannot be used as an excuse.
The running order is utterly bizarre. I thought Bowen was chief support to Tete. Them two in the middle of the card and Clarke Richards is headlining.
Am i right in thinking Warrington is the one world title holder Frank has now? He's in serious trouble. That card last night with its running order and lack of 'star power' sums up a lot of whats wrong for him. At least matchroom know to put lower profile cards under a different brand or in places like Monaco where its a different type of night.
When this card was made the pro Warren lot were raving over it, saying how great it was and what not. There’s been about 4 posters taking about it. The facts are it was a **** card with very little interesting on it.
It was pony but the Delmonte Car Lot was better but also a pile of pony except the final fight and a very good looking ref in the female fight.
It was a decent fight but very predictable as the odds suggested. The fat China man was more entertaining as he had the Dave Price feel about him all fight. It was a better card than Birmingham and fook knows how Frank decided on his running order with the best fights out very early.
